'20 GA OL Tate Ratledge (UGA commit)

That’s exactly what it means. Was in Cincinnati on a business trip and we stopped by in the evening by the Tropicana. Valet was full of expensive cars and beautiful women, and uuuuugly dudes.

Haha well the whole point was in response to the comment that Tennessee basically is a Lambo to recruits as far as facilities and budget. Maybe it's more like a Buick before their redesign at the moment.

Ask him about the recruit they just landed, #1614 in the country. 6’1 155 with 4.85 speed, I’m curious on that one. UM is ranked #53 in academic rankings, they do have some good programs. Curious why they accepted that commitment this early?

Bascom-Palmer Eye Institute is a world class ophthalmology center. They're usually ranked as the #1 ophthalmology specialist program in America, which is really incredible when you think of the affiliations that the academic institutes like Harvard have with Mass General and the Eye and Ear Infirmary, or Willis Eye with Jefferson Health, and Wilmer Eye with Johns Hopkins. Very impressive for such a small health system to have such a globally renowned program.

Even among academic health systems in Florida, University of Miami is small potatoes. UF Health has the massive healthcare presence in Florida, but watch for UCF in the healthcare space. UCF is opening their downtown Orlando campus, and they're scaling up their graduate programs, including healthcare. More importantly, UCF is affiliating with Orlando Health, and that is going to give UCF the opportunity to work closely with the local healthcare infrastructure and grow their presence in a big way that you can't do without affiliating. Great move by UCF, and from Orlando Health's perspective this is their way to go after marketshare that UF Health, Advent Health, and other for-profit systems like CHS and HCA go after.

A little closer to home, that's literally exactly what you see out in the Shops at Buckhead. Just on Saturday of last week I saw the valets parking multiple McLaren F1s, BMW i8s, a Mercedes G55 wagon, etc.....And every single one of those vehicles was driven by a guy in his 40s or 50s, wearing form fitting clothing that did not fit their pudgy physiques, alongside women who are 15-25 years junior.

Security is attractive and money is strongly correlated to security.

If the rest of his recruiting buddies commit to UT, it's possible we could get back in it in the fall. In the meantime, he'll be peer-recruiting against Bailey for some of these same guys-- which is one reason both UT and UGA wanted him to commit now instead of waiting till summer.
Bailey obviously sucks at peer recruiting so that’s bad news

The funny part of the Friend hate is that he gets no credit at all for two 5 star OL signing a few months ago, or the other 4star OL or anyone else for that matter. If Ratledge committed to UT on Monday he would get zero credit for that as well. He's the Rodney Dangerfield of Pruitt's staff.
There’s only ONE acceptable OL coach! Interestingly enough every NC ever won has been accomplished without him.

Will Friend at Berry College today to see Ratledge per a poster on VQ. There's a track & field meet going on today.
I’m going to blame you for this since you mentioned Berry and field together.
BUT, anyone on here that likes to hunt, Berry is among the best anywhere. The WMA is 15,000 acres of deer, bear, turkey, dove, etc. they do a draw for the gun hunts (or used to).

Nah. Probably more of tennessee being awful over the past 10 years than anything. Last year Pruitt got a 1st year coach honeymoon period thats gone now it seems like
maybe. and i think the draft hurt. i'm sure that's being brought up a lot....as a brand, going 0fer in three of the last 4 or 5 drafts is not good, and being the only SEC team to not have a draft pick this year...well....i'm sure kids are being reminded of that.

but i do agree, i think there a lot of prospects that are seriously considering us that do want to see how the season goes. i don't necessarily think any one game sways a kid one way or the other, but i do think that it's important we win more than we lose, and we pass the eyeball test.
