First off, it is not a done deal. 2020 is a long way away. FL is crumbling, and GA has peaked. We are in line to challenge for the East very little time.
Second, we just landed a BAD DB 6'2 with arms longer than eagles wings.
Our O line is stacking up fine. I don't like seeing Knoxville boys go either, but the younger Mays is going to beat his brother's team in his career. We have 3 potential 5* OL on this team. We will have more.
One player does not define the team, the coaches recruiting or anything else.

Pruitt should have sent Will Friend kicking cans and hired Pittman. That seems to be why the kid is going to Ga and not Tennessee.

Definite agree on this front. I'd root for my boy, but I wouldn't root for GA over the VOLS no matter what. GA has got theirs coming. It will be great getting revenge against Cade Mays. If this boy wants some, tell him to bring it.

I am not sure it’s stupid. But as a life long UT fan, if my son went to a rival school, I would root for him and them on that day. But otherwise, I would most likely root for UT every other week. You can root for both, and my son would understand it as it’s my alma mater and he grew up wearing orange.

The kid has still spent most of his life in the state of Georgia and has probably been a fan of them for all we know... Of course, his dad didn't just have to film taking the T off of his truck... he wanted to for some attention.

Maybe, you can be ok with more than 1 team? Lots of parents have kids attend somewhere other than their alma mater. Some have 2 kids at rival schools. It's not that hard. Bet Archie didn't throw away his Ole Miss stuff.
You can support your child and still like your other team also.

I agree jake, to a certain point. My son has made some decisions that I didn’t necessarily agree with, but stood by him and would again if I had it to do over again. Most are upset because the father changed the decal while being filmed instead of doing it privately. Could have been because the father was just being supportive and not considering how it would look (big day as a family) or a stunt. Some posters are just venting even though we all knew how the day would go. I don’t like it either, but hope everyone can move on to next one, like the one we did get today.

I have no issues with the kid picking UGA. UGA has been far more successful recently and Pittman is a far better OL coach than Friend, etc. but the dad who did that to stroke his ego on TV is a POS...
