Yes. Family trumps football. I would tell my son that I would love for him to play for Tennessee it’s his decision and I would hope I’ve prepared him for it.You guys are stupid. This is REAL LIFE... and that is HIS son.... if my son wanted me to do that then I would... I’m not rooting against my own son if he plays UT... this is absolutely stupid.
TN hasn’t won 9 games in a regular season in 12 years.
You have to win. We’ve lost a generation of kids whose families may have been Vol fans, but have seen years of constant losing, broken promises, and poor player development.
It is what it is.
Definite agree on this front. I'd root for my boy, but I wouldn't root for GA over the VOLS no matter what. GA has got theirs coming. It will be great getting revenge against Cade Mays. If this boy wants some, tell him to bring it.I would never renounce my fandom regardless. He could root for both UT and Georgia with the exception of 1 game per year.
What kind of son would ask his dad to remove a decal for a team that he has rooted for forever? This is just another shot at 15 minutes of fame and a weak one at that. You guys are stupid. Maybe, you can be ok with more than 1 team? Lots of parents have kids attend somewhere other than their alma mater. Some have 2 kids at rival schools. It's not that hard. Bet Archie didn't throw away his Ole Miss stuff. You guys are stupid. This is REAL LIFE... and that is HIS son.... if my son wanted me to do that then I would... I agree jake, to a certain point. My son has made some decisions that I didn’t necessarily agree with, but stood by him and would again if I had it to do over again. Most are upset because the father changed the decal while being filmed instead of doing it privately. Could have been because the father was just being supportive and not considering how it would look (big day as a family) or a stunt. Some posters are just venting even though we all knew how the day would go. I don’t like it either, but hope everyone can move on to next one, like the one we did get today. It's his son. Not sure I'd of done that on TV. No point.
And I don't like it. But if my son was going to play football at a rival... He'd have my support...11 games a year.
Yeah it's a bad look for us. I'm sure not intentional on Dad's part.I agree jake, to a certain point.
