'20 GA OL Tate Ratledge (UGA commit)

Well that fellow is just supporting his son.

I would support my kids too. I would still wear the orange but everyone is different. I probably wouldn't wear orange or red to games though.

In my book, disgraceful is a lot of things but taking a power T off your truck to show support for your son isn’t even close to one of them.

But this isn’t a hill I’m going to die on. Carry on.

Overreacting can go both ways, and I agree on this post. Carry on good sir.

First off, it is not a done deal. 2020 is a long way away. FL is crumbling, and GA has peaked. We are in line to challenge for the East very little time.
Second, we just landed a BAD DB 6'2 with arms longer than eagles wings.
Our O line is stacking up fine. I don't like seeing Knoxville boys go either, but the younger Mays is going to beat his brother's team in his career. We have 3 potential 5* OL on this team. We will have more.
One player does not define the team, the coaches recruiting or anything else.

Disgraceful isn’t a bit of an overreaction.
Was it graceful? No. Maybe I could've used a better word, that's just the first one to come to mind. What got me was it making headlines because the man waited until the news channel got to his home and then removed his decal. That isn't a true Vol fan in my opinion.

Maybe, you can be ok with more than 1 team? Lots of parents have kids attend somewhere other than their alma mater. Some have 2 kids at rival schools. It's not that hard. Bet Archie didn't throw away his Ole Miss stuff.
You can support your child and still like your other team also.
Exactly. You don't have to disown your alma mater to also cheer for your son. What did Archie do the two times that Tennessee played Ole Miss in 1996 and 1997? He and Olivia (and even Cooper) wore Tennessee garb to the games and cheered for their son and the Vols... but he remained an Ole Miss supporter. He didn't renounce them. This guy removing the decal from his truck was strictly for the benefit of the cameras.

Of course if Jones had Sam Pittman, he might still be coaching here. Sam Pittman is to OL as Josh Dobbs was to masking CBJ inadequacies.
Based upon the remote chance this would be reality, I'll take where we're at. That being said, we've got too many examples of this being the case...Sunseri, w/ Dooley is another. I'm just tired of having incompetence as a reason we stink. I do think we've got a solid group of coaches now, but the purging of previous soft mindset is proving difficult.

Opinions don’t always smell like roses... lol. Hey if nothing else you gave a title that had people reacting to it, so good on you. I highly disagree but then again that’s just my opinion 😂

Wow. Another diehard Vols family goes by the wayside. It seems to be easy for them to commit somewhere else. Where are the team of super recruiters folks have bragged about? Disappointing.
Very, very tiresome negavol bullsh*t! Ignore is a very good feature of the Volnation message board.

You guys are stupid. This is REAL LIFE... and that is HIS son.... if my son wanted me to do that then I would... I’m not rooting against my own son if he plays UT... this is absolutely stupid.
my son goes to another school im cool with it ...he tells me to get rid of my "T" decal...im looking for a reason to disown...

I don’t have a problem with him taking that off.

It’s going to be so sweet watching us pass UGA in the next few years as their act gets stale with recruits and they still don’t produce titles.
