'20 GA OL Tate Ratledge (UGA commit)

If Ratledge makes it in this weekend for the OV to UGA, it's not necessarily a bad thing. It could end up helping us.

His vibe at UGA could be totally different without Pittman around and maybe he won't like the new OL coach or the plan in place.

Henry T said after his OV to Bama, he knew UT was the place for him.

OK. If you want to talk about that time Aub beat Kirby and lil nickie and then had to play with their RB injured. And Kirb coached his guys to fall on dude's shoulder in the pile all night. OK. All I --and all the world -- remember is Kirby choking in the sequel.

I changed it for you. And you know I meant again.
Whoa chill out bud.

you're inferring intent. you don't "know" that. now, should have have realized a reaction would be generated? probably.

but actively trying to get one? doubtful.

supposed to be a bit of fun to show dad supporting son. then, humans happened.
lol, he knew exactly what he was doing. It was totally to make a public statement, if not he would have done in privately. It was classless. You can show support for your son without disrespecting another. You are naive if you don't think he knew exactly what he was doing.

you're missing hte point.

you're projecting. lol.

objectively, there's no way you can say anything but two things:
1. awwhh, look at Dad supporting his son.
2. he probably should've known Vol twitter/Vol Fans aren't going to like that.

anything else, and you're just adding ingredients for your own pleasure.

you sure about that? lol.
I think he is making a distinction between removing it, and sending a video to media.

Edit: I think he did the latter for likes, not considering what a unnecessary provocation it was, as seen from the other side. But it doesn't matter to me.

With the family's Tennessee ties, I just really can't imagine what would motivate this kid to attend UGA. It baffles me that he picked them to start out with but our OL was solid this season. He'll get great coaching in Knoxville and sure he'll fall in love with whatever uniform he selects but later in life it'll simply mean more if it's UT.

A talented kid has to weigh a lot of things in his decision process... Even when you have a soft spot for a team, when they are way down you have to consider other options. I wish he had waited longer to commit, but in May I can see a comparative analysis being really bad for us, got worse after two games, and only recently have we closed ground. Once committed I have second thoughts about flipping kids. Consideration for a coaching change, head or position, is a valid reason to consider one, but even with our trend I can see where it would be hard for quality kid to change directions.

If we can keep the trend going up next year, we should be able to appeal to those who sported our colors in their younger days. But I cannot take shots when our product is where it has been, Would celebrate him changing his mind under these circumstances for sure, and cringe at the reactions of our lower class guys if he does not after they are convinced we were back in play.

I've been reading your posts for years on here and I dont recall too often you making your opinion more valuable than others. You are not usually the type of poster to call people naive that don't agree with you. I'm just saying...maybe you're taking this a little too seriously. Just some feedback from a fellow VN friend.
