'19 GA OL Wanya Morris (Tennessee signee)

Bro it's been 3 f*#"#"g months like what do u really want them to do?It's crazy to me how much some fans expect, especially after the last decade and the debacle of a coaching hire etc...

*Edit was quoting BOT screwed up

Dude, BOT is a corporate bigwig. He's CEO of the LOTM.

McGill is his COO.

Think Chief may be CIO, but he's trying to be incognito...and not very successfully.[/QUOTE]

Oh come on..jeez.

If you don't have a future, you tend to want to live in the past. How have your teams done this century? Who did you root for the first game of last season? Kinda went downhill from there for you, did it not. I guess you're used to it by now.

Hahahaha. You guys have ALWAYS lived in the future. It's your MO. Keep dreaming.

I guess I didn’t realize how long Georgia hasn’t had a national championship. Hell I wasn’t even born in 1980. Wasn’t even thought of. My parents were still in high school. So I’m guessing mouth breather 4 life was alive in 1980? That’s nice. I love to hear your stories of the war dawg4life. Any of them...

It's sad. State with the 4th best talent in the country. 38 years and counting...

I’m amazed how they are not dominate at all sports to be honest. I mean with Atlanta an hour and a half away with all of the talent right there, they should be good at every single sport.

It’s cause we and every other major SEC team has been poaching Georgia kids for a while now

The Georgia program is head and shoulders above Tennessee's right now, and likely will be for be next couple of years. They're in the national championship conversation. I don't get why we'd throw rocks at a program like that given the state our program has been in for ten years.

Because we are Tennessee fans. I don't give a **** about Georgia and never have.

I get it your an Urban Meyer fan and you love Georgia. We all get it. I tell you what you seem like a miserable human being. Claim to be a vol fan. I think I speak for all of us. Please go cheer for another team. Or better yet don’t watch in Tennessee games this season. Maybe take up a hobby like knitting or chasing parked cars.

the critical thing to the final outcome is that our staff gets the most out of the players...regardless of the talent level of the players. If they do, more will come. If they don't, they won't. If they are constantly getting more from less, the talent will steadily improve. Expecting that we are going to recruit like bama without first proving anything is kinda silly.

Kirby had a big advantage over us. Despite the whining from uga fans, richt left talent stacked like cordwood, so he had a bunch to work with. A decent roster, coupled with rumors of them greatly upping their bagman game, plus the fact that georgia has stupid amounts of talent to draw from, enabled them to quickly recruit at bama's level. We ain't there.

I think it's more likely that pruitt's path looks more like spurrier at uscjr. Overperform. Recruit better. Overperform more. Recruit better still.

Have patience and celebrate improvement. We don't need to beat bama, uga, and auburn...yet...we need to beat uk, vandy, and mizzou.

💯

Nah. I'm a very blessed, happy fella. Try to be honest with myself and others. You don't like it, I don't care. Feel free to ignore.

Of course they are. Kirby is a good football coach so was Richt. We had ass hats like Lyle and Dools. We will be fine this year will be rough sure, but I will never kiss another teams butt like you do. They are a good football team. They have fertile recruiting with in an hour of campus. Athens is a fun town my brother is getting his PHD there. I’ll be there tomorrow as a matter a fact. With what all they have at there disposal they have been a disappointment in my eyes for 20 years.

That is not what I'm saying. It will be a big deal to miss on Morris if he goes to AU, that is a fact, pretending it wouldn't be is asinine. Every elite recruit we miss on is a huge setback due to our already depleted roster.

Can we PLEASE just wait til after NSD to claim anything as a huge setback or failure??

Well I mean they are the defending conference champions. That's a heck of an accomplishment where I come from. Some people are making it out like they haven't got anything done yet. I think it looks weak when our fans try to hockey on a program that's been head and shoulders above ours for a decade. It's similar to how Vanderbilt fans talk about Tennessee's program. Buck up and call it for what it is. We'll get there though.

Ron shared this back on the 15th. It seems so long ago now.

"Simonton video interview with Morris at Charlotte Rivals camp...Wanya got OL MVP and invited to The Opening. Coach Friend is a like a father, I go to him for advice, I love Coach Pruitt too, I know those guys will help me with anything. All smiles, said he's been visiting UT since he was 8 years old, a dream come true to be in this position. Taking OV to UT next weekend for spring game, bringing whole family. Said once he commits on May 1st recruiting is done for him.

Showed video of him dominating at the camp too. Really excited about this kid being a Vol."
