'19 GA OL Wanya Morris (Tennessee signee)

Well I mean they are the defending conference champions. That's a heck of an accomplishment where I come from. Some people are making it out like they haven't got anything done yet. I think it looks weak when our fans try to hockey on a program that's been head and shoulders above ours for a decade. Buck up and call it for what it is. We'll get there though.

They have one three Sec titles since 2002. I’m just saying with as much talent as they have had that number should be a whole lot higher. The Sec east title thing in my opinion is a little over rated. Hell Missouri did it twice and so did Florida recently. Those four years Georgia was clear cut more talented then those teams and couldn’t get it done.

They were still a strong program. Richt never won a national but he did have lot of success there when you look at the body of work. New sheriff is obviously in town there though. It's more likely than not that they're here to stay for the foreseeable future.

Ya I’ll give you that. Strong program, but imo had some serious choke jobs over the years.

Absolutely. Don't disagree with that at all. Still wish they would have hung on to Richt, even though he's a really good coach. Just think Kirby is poised to accomplish more there.

So much funnier hearing Spngebob’s voice as I saw this.

Clark’s recent pledge kept the door cracked for Auburn, and the Tigers were able to get Morris and his family on campus for a quiet visit earlier this week — the first time his mom has been to The Plains. This marked a dramatic turn in the Grayson standout’s recruitment, as Morris’ mom strongly preferred Tennessee before the visit, per sources. While the tide has changed, there’s still plenty of twists and turns left to go here before a May 1 announcement. Morris will be in town with his family for an official visit this weekend. He’s scheduled to take an OV to Auburn next weekend. Can Tennessee flip old man Mo?

like that's brand new information...'we need better players'.

we're not going to hang with the GA's and Bama's of the world right now anyway.

it may actually take 2-3 years. not 6 months. and what if we sign a top 12 class? fire him? not good enough? puhlease.

so you can bemoan the potential loss of one recruit as "not gonna get it done" all you want, at the end of the day, it doesn't change the fact we are where we are, and no matter who we sign in this class, isn't going to change it for this season, and maybe not even next.

You do realize that are probably going to be reported if you continue to use logic and common sense in your posts. Aight?

Very prophetic Chief Nostradamus. Who you like court more Urban or Kirby?

The Georgia program is head and shoulders above Tennessee's right now, and likely will be for be next couple of years. They're in the national championship conversation. I don't get why we'd throw rocks at a program like that given the state our program has been in for ten years.

We throw rocks at Georgia, Florida and Alabama all day every day because we love Tennessee. It's really as simple as that.

I still don't think our cheat game has reached the levels of GA, Bama, or Alabama, or Aurburn. I don't think that changes over night. I think Kirby brought a pretty strong cheat game with him to GA and it showed/shows. He had years to learn under the master and the school that's famous for it's cheat game.

He seems to pride himself on his realistic views and objectivity. Fans are not objective. By definition.

He goes out of his way to look at the positives of other programs and ignoring the negatives. While at the same time he's a "realist" when it comes to the Vols.

Do you think anyone who has followed TN football over the last decade needs your sophomoric observation and moralizations? Ignoramus....go look it up.

Whets the Grayson 4 going? Harris to Bama, Watson to Tx, Morris/Pappoe?

Out of the four, UGA is only really recruiting Pappoe. Pappoe has visited Athens more than what is widely known. Maybe even this week:) The thing about Pappoe is that he likes to keep the recruiting folks guessing and maybe even enjoys toying with them a little. Regardless, I don't put a lot of stock in preseason commitments. Some of these kids will change their mind as the season plays out. I still believe that if Pappoe goes to Auburn so will Morris. No question in my mind about that.

Preseason, Pappoe likely has a better feel for UGA's on field product than Auburn's, so that may play in UGA's favor. IMO Morris would be smart to delay his decision so he can evaluate the product Auburn and Tennessee put on the field. I don't think Gus' offense prepares O-Linemen for the NFL though. So if Tennessee is going to run more of a pro-style offense, then Morris would be smart IMO to choose Tennessee.

Umm...Georgia, Bama, or Alabama??? This Netflix thing has you all discombobulated.

Will definitely be a nice test to see how well Pruitt can close

He is a heck of a closer if he wins this. Too much against him now that it's no longer fair playing field. Pappoe was too far gone and UGA lost their lead there then auburn gave in by taking their best friend. We just aren't in a position to take package deals if the other part isn't going to contribute. Now Auburb gets last visit after secret visits.

i have some questions about his ability to close as a HC but that comes from a quay Walker, Eddie smith type recruitment not one where auburn Stoops to desparate levels and kneels to Grayson kids requests.

Also it wouldn't suprise me if this changes a few times by nsd. Pappoe won't just shut it down fro UGA. So if he flips then so could wayna.
