“She was like, ‘I feel like you’re going to be good at Tennessee.’ And I was like, ‘I do, too. But I see myself at both schools, so it’s really hard.’ And, really, the deciding factor is, do I want to go into a program that’s already built or do I want to make my name for myself and build a program up? And I think I could be the face of this program and rebuild this program.”

The early signing period for the 2019 class still is more than seven months away, but Morris said he doesn’t expect to visit any other schools before signing with the Vols.

“Once it’s done, it’s done,” he said.

“It feels great because that (Tennessee) fan base is outstanding — outstanding. That fan base is crazy, so just to be a part of a bigger family like that, they’re going to put me as if I’m their own. Their fans are nuts, so it just feels great.”

LG: Jerome Carvin/ Jahmir Johnson
C: Ryan Johnson, Riley Locklear
RG: Trey Smith/ Jackson Lampley
RT: Marcus Tatum/ Wanya Morris

and who knows what other guards/centers we will recruit by then.
