'19 GA OL Wanya Morris (Tennessee signee)

I know that I'm getting wayyyy ahead of myself, but in the 2019 season we could have:

LT: Richmond/ Darnell Wright
LG: Jerome Carvin/ Jahmir Johnson
C: Ryan Johnson, Riley Locklear
RG: Trey Smith/ Jackson Lampley
RT: Marcus Tatum/ Wanya Morris

and who knows what other guards/centers we will recruit by then.

That would be hella good!!!

Those pickups would allow us to move Emerson back to DL...and IMO the addition of Lowe and Brown would allow Bumphus to move to DL where I think he would be a beast

I think Smith will be playing tackle by then. Formidable either way

Even Ron.

lol he was at the time. Thank god for Fulmer and Pruitt and their dedication to winning. They flipped it back. Going to be nice next time we go up against Auburn head to head for a top recruit and the standard, "When was the last time we won one of these battles with Auburn?!" and we can say Wanya Morris. V,B

Wish I could like this more times. We need a gif of the angry Gus face for us winning this battle

Technically he said he committed to the coaches a couple months ago but I do think Auburn had a little momentum to change his mind when you said that.

Most people in the know think he will be a guard in the NFL. He may want to stay at guard at Tennessee. If recruiting goes as expected, we will be in good shape in the OL.

Most people in the KNOW don’t know ****! If he’d have picked Bama, he’d have been touted as the prototype LT. Like he was before he committed to UT.

This may be true, but they do make or influence decisions.

Who exactly are we talking about? If you’re referring to the Tom Luginbills of the world who spout off about high school kids, College and NFL coaches have yet to give one shizz about their OPINION when they use a talent. Recruiting experts...expert. Then their talking heads fly away. Give me a legit COACH who’s opined on Trey’s skillset.

If you are reading this thread, I would like to thank you for choosing my Alma mater and my hometown to spend your college years.
You will love it.
Great school, people, and surroundings.
I hope that you can become a great ambassador for our coaching staff and help reel in some more great talent to play alongside of you.
Welcome to Big Orange Country!

So is this an endorsement of the new heads of house in the UTAD or are you still sightly warey?

I know that is for 2019, but this year, I’d kick the tires here.

Dallas Warmack is transferring. I believe he graduates this month making him grad transfer and would be a good plug guy for this year. At the absolute least, good depth but should see PT almost anywhere he goes.

According to reports he’s going to be a redshirt Junior so he could be in the program for 2 years.
