It really grinds my gears if a coach does it in Jan/Feb and especially NSD. For a coach, it's just another 'employee', for the kid, where he goes to school will affect the rest of his life. /climbing down from my soapbox/

Looks like the kid was putting in a lot of work trying to help secure other commitments. I'm sure Kirby appreciates it.

IMO that's why we don't hear many of our commitments recruiting others. Fact is they may be helping recruit the guy who takes their spot and bumps them out the class. Our commits are like I'm going to just be quiet and hope for the best.

Speaking of Dixon, we believe some in his circle were in touch with the Vols this week but at this time we don't believe Tennessee will move on that front. The Vols are comfortable with the three linebacker commitments they have from Georgia and unless someone decides to part ways with the Vols between now and signing day, they seem set at linebacker with Solon Page III, Jaquan Henderson and Mo Burnam unless a no-brainer wants in.

Will not be playing in tonight's 6pm game against IMG. Claims on Twitter he is suspended this game for an ejection in playoffs last year.

This year will be the last time you see a GA team playing IMG I believe. I heard the GHSA is changing the rules to not allow the scheduling of an opponent that is ineligible to play in the playoffs wherever they are.

You probably need to stop looking at stars and start looking at how those LB's fit our defensive system.

That wasn't an answer. You told me to change how I view recruiting. I said no. I'm here for the discussion not the advice. If you want to discuss how Dixon's skill sets differ from the 3 LB's we already have then I'm cool with that. Heck, that's what a discussion board is for! If you don't then again why even respond? I'm a big boy. I won't cry too much if no one wants to discuss the topic.

When he leaves 'point a' he takes sooo long to arrive at 'point b' that the ball carrier is no longer located at 'point b' and when he visits the doctor and steps on the scale the metal ruler only extends upwards to the numbers marked with a 5'10" before it rises above his head.

Gibbs, Pappoe, and Breon Dixon couldn't stop IMG from thumping Grayson; 26-7 final score. Would love to hear what people thought of him based on the game; I was jumping back and forth due to the Titans game

Makes sense. I was flipping back and forth so I didn't get to really watch much. What I saw, Owen Pappoe looked good, Gibbs was in the right places but looked stiff to me. Really impressed by IMG's qb, Mond. Would look good in our system
