'19 GA OLB Roman Harrison (Tennessee signee)

This is what Bass is referring to...

The Vols landed a superb athlete in Roman Harrison, a prospect who they envision can add 30+ pounds and retain most of his freakish athleticism. Harrison is relatively unknown because he plays in a small town in South Georgia, but don’t be surprised if other schools come calling this fall. There’s been some Courtney Upshaw comps for Harrison, and while that seems outlandish right now for a prospect who just got ranked, the staff is sky-high on his potential.

Sounds like they want him at 270+ DE

They don’t always have that type of comment. They are “sky high” on this kid comparing him to elite of the elite former players. This isn’t a depth guy as he’s been referred to as or like I thought he might be. They think he’s a sure fire stud
Well yeah. He came in and put up freakish testing numbers. Dude is 6’2” 240 and dominates his HS competition at nose tackle. Coaches are almost definitely thinking of what this guy can do coming off the edge with 1-on-1 matchups. QBs gonna be scurred

If he ends up putting on that extra 30lbs I'm gonna be scurred for the QBs he goes against with his athleticism..... He will break them....

Pruitt when other schools come reaching out to Roman

There’s not a multitude of “some people” that are willing for Harrison to be processed. It’s more a part of his commitment Tweet not being 100% solid to the Vols and this before the offers pour in with the Pruitt bump. I agree with GFW that this is a potential monster and we need this type on our team. But there are others like Crouch that fit that narrative and who won’t be turned away.
