Heading into the Peach State, Tennessee continues to surge for Smael Mondon. Both Brian Niedermeyer and Jeremy Pruitt have worked him hard, but nobody is working him harder than the current commits such as Kamar Wilcoxson, Julian Nixon and Dylan Brooks. Signing Mondon will not only be a good indicator of the direction of our program, but also of Georgia’s. This is the kind of recruit Kirby Smart ALWAYS ends up signing, and everyone has considered him a lock to Georgia from day one.

If we swoop in and take him right under their noses, it will confirm that our staff has elevated it’s recruiting game (we kinda already knew that, though). But it will also prove, in my mind, that all is not well in KirbyLand.
