I never said it was a realistic goal or something to aspire towards. Somebody falsely labeled it as such and I mentioned it, not to you or even to the poster who did it. But in your role as QA for all the pumped sunshine, you stepped in. This is a pointless exercise.

If your assertion is that CJP couldn’t possibly be expected to recruit better than he did in ‘20, that’s false as well. Gilbert and Jarrett were ready to be Vols before our awful start, the first game of which there was no excuse for. And before you paint it as me not being satisfied with a great ‘20 class, I’ll preemptively say that is false, but there was room for the improvement which the current class is showing. Results on the field will determine whether it stays that way.

I'm glad it's a beautiful, sunny , warm morning where I live because you seem to bring constant clouds and rain in most of your posts. Obvious that you are a glass half empty guy so go over to the ff.

Watched plenty of fountains flow in here 4 years ago when Butch Jones put together a couple of great classes. Usual suspects. Then watched him squander a team that I honestly believe could’ve won it all. Wasn’t long til the fountains sputtered out. If it’s a drain to wait til we beat a team better than SC before I crown Pruitt, then I guess I’m a drain. I think he’s already a much better evaluator and developer of talent than CBJ was, and the recruiting right now? Hell yes I’m excited. Doesn’t mean we should go around saying stuff that’s objectively not true, not that it ever bothered you.

Lol. Doesn't bother me at all. Part of the enjoyment is the journey not just the destination. You can do whatever you want, waller in that misery from the past. Some enjoy the excitement of the present and the potential of what could be.

Or it could be that I make plenty of positive posts. I actually generally like the “sunshine pumpers”. But hey- we didn’t get Darnell Washington. It’s just a fact. And I don’t really even care that we didn’t. It’s just that when there’s good vibes around here is ironically when nobody is allowed to point out anything that isn’t 100% pure Kool Aid. It was guys like me trying to y’all off a ledge after Florida last year. Because you’re reactionaries. In good times and bad.

If u think I’m not just as or more excited about this past week as any other Vol fan you’re wrong, As always I reserve the right to point out something if it’s not true. From time to time I have to defend it in the midst of “your parade” which is fine. I respect that you don’t wanna hear negativity but disagree that pointing out a simple fact takes away from anything positive that’s happening with my beloved Vols right now. It’s been a great week

Well just listened to a recent Amarius mims interview

They're already conceding that they're going to lose him. They think he's going to pick Bama, but they're already starting to name other OTs they think are better than him anyways. The puppies are a whole different breed. Any time a top recruit hints at picking another school they instantly find reasons that they didn't want them anyways or they're not as good as their ranking. Idiots.
