Probably because Mims should see playing time while Darnell’s targets aren’t likely to improve that much. UGA still has Bowers, got another high 4* receiving TE, and Gilbert is reportedly back with the team. If DW wants to go to the NFL as a TE, many think he has a higher ceiling at tackle, he needs targets.
