Sanders. He's a future Top 10 pick and your 2025 RT followed by 2026-7 LT.Would we rather have Sanders or both Petty & Gaston for the same money? NB4 why not both.
This is exactly how high-end recruiting works. To get those high level guys, you gotta get involved early. CJH had no chance for those guys their first couple years. Those relationships had already been made plus they were answering NCAA questions. Once the sky has cleared, we’re seeing how good they can recruit.Answered this in another thread. The other point id say is that our scouting department has done a great job getting out in front of kids, getting them on campus as soph and juniors, which allows more time with Glen rather than one meeting. He shows much better overtime than a single meeting
Sanders. He's a future Top 10 pick and your 2025 RT followed by 2026-7 LT.
Petty is 255 pounds, not even 6'5, and doesn't have plus length. He's not an SEC OT and therefore not even close to being worth the NIL $ he's commanding due to being a 5-star.
Petty will be a great player just not a tackle imo. Hope you guys land him. I don’t see us being an option but having a good effort now might do us some good if he ever hits the portal. Most likely FSU but I’ll root for GT to land him.Would definitely agree.
Petty has been up to 285 wrestling, but he's really trimmed down. 255 is what he weighed on visits.
Very well could end up inside. Still is super quick, nasty, dominate in the run game. A very high level prospect. Lot of potential.
However, Sanders is the ideal prospect.
Two great prospects. Sanders is the better one though.
We're getting Sanders, no matter if Petty decides to play for OSU, China, Neptune, all 3 at different points in time (or, at the same time, somehow), or retire from football altogether.Do y'all think him choosing OSU would be a good sign for us? Like would that be David Sanders' spot he was taking?
