A lot of OTs can slide inside fwiw. The only real position you would have to get a specific skillset at is really if you plan on someone playing the center position in terms of inside guys
and all of them have to make a business decision. wanna play yourself out of the 1st 3 rounds of NFL draft by staying at tackle? or be a day 1 or 2 pick at guard?

in any event, he's still got another OV left. maybe he takes it here in the fall. who knows.

OV’s for players are unlimited now. He can take as many as he wants.

Tennessee has quietly gotten back in on Georgia offensive lineman Josh Petty. He and his family were on the phone with Josh Heupel this past week as the Vols look to get him back to campus sometime in late spring or early summer. Tennessee would love to have had him coming up here this weekend, but he has prom and could not miss that. He talks with David Sanders quite a bit and those two wouldn’t mind playing together at the next level.

It means something. You think Bama and Georgia have had a roster of 3 stars over the years?

It's not everything, but it definitely means something

Gotta have players that fit your scheme.

Not every 5* is a 5* quality to them and their system. And recruiting services generate their rankings according to what top schools are recruiting said recruits

There’s a chance they don’t recruit off of service rankings
I think that was his point (sarcastically).

What many in VN don’t understand is that the opposite is true…service rankings base their rankings off of who recruits these kids. They’re not talented enough to know how to evaluate. So yeah, the Bama’s and Georgia’s win with highly ranked players…because players get ranked highly as a result of being heavily pursued by Bama and Georgia. It’s not that hard to figure out.
