'20 GA QB Harrison Bailey (UT SIGNEE)

in regards to Bailey he has done nothing but drop despite winning MVPs, and impressing people. everywhere he goes.
Has their been a new system ranking since last week? Did he drop since last week? That’s the only one I know he has won. I’m sure I missed others???

Btw, he is coming up and they are doing live updates, they will throw 20 balls, you get 3 points for each accurate throw. I expect him to do well...

I didn’t say Bailey didn’t drop, you showed one recruit, fact is more TN commits went up, than down. Some went up tremendously. Every teams fan believes ‘ESPN hates, Rivals/247 hates us, etc’ TN gained more spots than it lost I assure you. Yes, the Bama bump is real (they’ve admitted it), so is the SEC bump. Do they get automatic bumps? Sometimes, but at minimum, the recruiting services go back and studies X prospects film if the commit to a SEC school. Why? Bc the SEC puts the most players in the NFL and has earned their rep as talent evaluators.
Well, I guess Tennessee fans need to pay as much attention to how the recruits that look like they will commit to us or do commit are viewed by recruiting services as other fans do. Obviously I only remember the ones that went down like #1 Crouch and Wright, etc. I'll try harder to keep up with those that increase in our favor. Hopefully there will be more from now on.

Rolling right completes a corner route. High on a crossing route rolling right.
On target with Cover 2 hole shot, but dropped.
Completes a crossing route.

High on a post to the right. Complete post.

Harrison Bailey
Nice touch and throws a catchable ball as usual.
Missed a few deep throws.
Probably on the low end of this group in terms of mobility and moving outside the pocket and throwing on the run.

When has mobility been such a thing in the past? 😂there is a reason he is a “pocket passer” and a damn good one at that
Not sure, but pay attn to LSU’s QB ranking He is throwing well, but that dude runs in cement. So far, Van Dyke (Miami commit) has the worst showing,

Have to see more poles before believing that.

Are these enough?

Tee Hodge dropped the day he committed. When it was brought up how he didn’t let 247 do the commit interview as a probable reason why, the rivals VQ guys threw in their “likes.” Pretty obvious. Almost our entire class last year went down after committing. The ones that seem to get a bump, are the undiscovered gems who have no place to go but up.

He just can't move. No mobility. Can't get it to the receivers in stride while on the run
I have a question and nothing against rishvol just happened to be available. I know this is the nfl I am comparing but how many “mobile” qbs have won a super bowl? I can thank of 2 (Staubach, Wilson). He will be able to move and no he is no Dobbs running the ball but if you are a receiver and can own the field/catch the ball why would you not want him at qb.

I hope he at least went up on Rivals

What do you consider mobile? Elway and Favre were pretty mobile right? Edit: also I'd think Steve young.

Running having mor chance than throwing. This kid will be able to move as much as Elway. He was a cripple most of his career after the first knee but moved enough to make things happen. I think you will see the same here.

This is *not* our rankings of the QBs tonight, that article is coming later via Charles Power. This is how the QBs stacked up per the grading system Barton was using that essentially boils the pro day session into accuracy and doesn't account for feet, arm talent, and other more subjective factors.

For comparison
Haynes King up. Moves really well outside the pocket. Deep ball floated a bit. Accurate throwing on the run. Really nice throw on a rail shot. When everything is in sync mechanically he’s one of the best. Just a little inconsistent with the mechanics but obviously very talented. Thought it was another good showing

Haynes King with a dime to open on a corner route. Connects on crossing route.
On target with the slant, but drop. Swing pass in stride.
Rips an out rolling to his left. Rolling left again connects on a crossing route.
Corner route a little wobbly, incomplete.
A little low and behind on a crossing route but complete.
High on a dig.
Rolling right connects on a corner route. Then on target with a crossing route rolling right, but dropped.
On target with the Cover 2 hole shot, but dropped. A little high on crossing route.
On target up the seam, but another drop. Completes next seam route.
Post routes and completes both to either side.
Caps the drive by getting ball over defenders in the end zone.
