LOL. I've yet to see any unbridled optimism on this recruiting class. Most posters realize that UT is facing an uphill battle with top recruits because such recruits are taking a "wait and see" approach based on UT's last two seasons. Most posters understand that if we win 6-7 games, this class will be solid; win 8-9 games, and it will be outstanding. Most posters understand the perceived "slow/confusing" start is merely the product of a small, but loud group of posters who consistently demonstrate their irrational, myopic, and entitled view of where this program is right now.

In sum, don't clog up the board with your passive-aggressive dumb@ssery. QED

Where was the Bama coach after the injury? Oh wait that’s right they weren’t even at the game.

I would guess Chaney was thinking he wasn’t a doctor or any other medical personnel so he probably thought he would let them do their job then get back with the kid after his personnel well being was taken care of first.

It’s pretty standard practice to check in with a commit if a member of the coaching staff is at the game and a fairly significant injury occurs. Not sure what Chaney was thinking here.

I’m confused about that being a violation because it Keyton said last year when he was hurt, that Pruitt went to find him immediately and talk to him.

Edit: but I may be immagining things because unless I missed it, I didn’t see it in the Keyton thread anywhere.

I thought you were correct, but I wonder if it was different because Keyton's injury was during his senior year?

Also, like you, I may be thinking of the wrong player.
