'22 GA RB Justin Williams (Cal)

This is unbelievable. If we miss on Williams then we have whiffed on every single target. Every one. This is an early warning sign that what we were told about Heup and recruiting might be true. Disaster finish

Exactly but keep your mouth shut about our staffs recruiting ability or you'll get trashed by your own fans....

The NCAA is not going to hammer Tennessee. And if they tried it would be taken to court. Good grief by the time they rule the ones that were involved might be retired all together. We need a sanctioning body but the NCAA as it is now is a joke. We need a sanctioning body that makes even keel decisions in a reasonable amount of time. A body that’s only interest is to see all schools play by the same rules. And the rules are clear and make rules that make sense and not make rules just to make them. The Supreme Court voted 9-0 in their disapproval of the way the NCAA does things, it’s time the conferences get together and demand a better sanctioning body. Things cannot keep being ran by a group that cannot keep up with the investigations they have nor render a decision in a reasonable amount of time. GBO!

Yes. Every target
A couple weeks ago none of us knew half of those guys even existed. They’ll hit the portal and get guys. It’s going to be fine. We finally have coaches that can coach. That’s what’s most important.

Don’t worry about Bass. He’ll be XV-Nulla by the end of Spring practice.

The same fans who will be screaming for him to be fired when we're losing to Missouri in year 3 because "we don't have enough talent on the roster!"
Missouri has a good class this yr and still has way less talent than we do on their roster. Missouri’s coach is on his second class and it will be be his best one. I’ll bet you our 23 class will be way better than theirs. Just relax man. It’s gonna be ok.

I think '23 will be much better. But losing every single target down the stretch is a warning flag, whether you all want to admit it or not. I ignored the warning signs about Butch and Pruitt. I'm filing this one away. Hopefully we're in for a surprise tomorrow.

If we can't pull a kid where he could potentially come in and start vs going to a team where Tank is going to start and he will sit, then we're F'd boys... Looking like we have a staff that can coach, but can't recruit their way out of a wet paper bag.... hope I'm wrong, but this is where we are trending...

It happened to Fulmer one year in the mid nineties. It was called Black Monday( Monday before signing day) when a number of prospects chose Florida and others over Tennessee.

That's what's happening here. Hopefully it's not a sign of things to come and it is just a one year thing

Another thing is we haven’t closed well since Butch. I think kids have gotten a lot of “Tennessee is always a circus, new coach or not; we’re the safe pick.” talk around signing day, not only from opposing coaches, but from the people around them.

Y’all need to stop acting like the sky is falling. We went 7-5 with a coach who has been here for 11 months with an entirely turned over athletic department cleaning up a gulf oil spill. Step back and put things in perspective with recruiting. Heupel and his staff were doing nothing but fighting uphill battles with developing relationships with recruits considering most other schools had long last recruiting relationships with a lot of these guys and our remaining targets were all guys who just popped up in the last couple of months. Other teams didn’t close against us, but we more so almost stole a lot of recruits out from under the noses of established programs. If we get over the hump and win 8-10 next year our ‘23 class is going to look a hell of a lot different this time next year
