It didn’t work at all last night. We are so far undermanned at so many positions it is a miracle we won 7 games this year.If the 4th down play that was ruled incorrectly was run as a zone read, Hooker probably dances into the end zone untouched if he makes the right read.
Do not like inside power run plays at the goal lines using small RB's.
Strange inquiry from you. The point you are making seems trivial or not worth mentioning. He is simply stating Heupel has been good for UT this year but may have cost us a couple of wins with game mgt and decision making. Nothing more, nothing less. What happens if he doesn’t bring the “more” you’re already demanding?
Stephen’s always ran violently. He was just behind some All time great DOGS.Jabari is a sophomore and Wright is a true freshman. Neither was recruited to be a "big" back. Jabari can be considered a freshman due to the Covid season. They both have plenty of growth and development ahead of them. People need to calm down. Travis Stephens comes to mind when I think of both of these guys. Neither will ever be 220lb backs, but can definitely be extremely dangerous after a few years of strength training and maturity.
Wright is a guy that should have been able to redshirt this year.Stephen’s always ran violently. He was just behind some All time great DOGS.
Small is okay with me but he isn’t physical enough in traffic.
when I see Wright, I see a guy who’s better suited for running jet sweeps and screens and option routes in the slot or out the backfield.
I’ll even go as far as saying pig Howard was a more physical and gifted runner with the ball. And that’s the type of role wright would thrive in.
Regardless of him living up to his expectations on the field, you’re getting a kid that you will not have to worry about off the field and will be a great ambassador for the program.Yeah... uh, no. The guy currently plans to major in pre-med. This is a Dobbs type of student athlete. There are several in this class.
Coach is aggressive. He may Never change but he definitely won’t until the defense gets going. If he fails it will be at 100 miles an hour and I can live with that. I would have kicked a field goal on the 4th and long. He didn’t and we scored a touchdown. He coaches in the moment and when it works out we score and when it doesn’t people will second guess. It would seem so...
Heupel let 3 games slide this season all from bad in the moment coaching.
Love what he's brought, but he he needs to bring MORE.
Nothing more or less than the usual warmup to fire the coach because he made this mistake in this game and this mistake in this game...He will never win championships here. And some of y’all don’t even realize you do it. If he would have only stated what you said I would not have felt it was worth asking what are we going to do if he doesn’t do better. He’s going to be here for a while.Yeah, it was probably useless to try and make the point though.Strange inquiry from you. The point you are making seems trivial or not worth mentioning. This. My husband (who is a go for it type) was excited after the game because he said that Heupel will lose some games, but he will always go for it and give the players the chance to make plays. That’s just his personality. After watching Butch slam on the brakes all the time and Pruitt never even get going, I am just going to enjoy the hundred miles an hour.Coach is aggressive. That’s what I am hoping. Just dreading the constant mentioning of “he made a bad play call in game #2” that will be a result of aggressive play calling. Probably should not have said anything. And when coaches coach aggressively, players play to win and not to lose. They’re far more likely to make plays.
Wright reminds me of Tinsley a bit, has shown a willingness to lower his head, hust does not have enough leg drive. With how this offense spreads tbe defense, a big back should do well running through arm tacklesStephen’s always ran violently. He was just behind some All time great DOGS.
