'22 GA RB Justin Williams (Cal)

VFL Kyler Kerbyson was highly complimentary of him on the Bleav in Tennessee podcast. Said he’s great at setting up defenders to attempt bad tackles which is a skill most RBs never learn. Said his film showed a lot more than Sampson’s and he ought to contribute early.

Dobbs was the best I have ever seen at this. He would just give them the dead leg and slip right past them.

Dobbs may have not have had Vick's pure athleticism, but man was he Houdini running the ball and avoiding the rush. What a joy it was to watch him those last 2 years

Can't wait for this dude

And I think we need a transfer RB in the portal

Small and Wright are third down backs

WHY DID WE RUN WRIGHT IN A JUMBO PACKAGE!??!

Oh yeah nevermind he actually scored and the refs were like nope
Williams isn’t the only back coming in next year, we will be just fine. Don’t need or want a transfer.

I hope Small finally gets healed up. He was banged up today and I think that’s why he didn’t run at the end of the game

Jabari has elite Qualities… vision and cutting ability and he runs strong and finishes forward he just doesn’t have top end speed for the home run plays… very good sec back but we need a speed guy with him like tiyon was… heup has 2 good backs coming though just be patient and relax heup is headed in the right direction fast… hate the field excuse but it did hurt our speed advantage vs Purdue… he called a great game we had plays with wrs wide open deep that we just was slightly off on for whatever reason but we are okay…

I just don’t know what folks are seeing concerning Small? He’s a quality SEC running back who gets north and south and can make some guys miss. I like his game a lot. JMO
Jabari is a sophomore and Wright is a true freshman. Neither was recruited to be a "big" back. Jabari can be considered a freshman due to the Covid season. They both have plenty of growth and development ahead of them. People need to calm down. Travis Stephens comes to mind when I think of both of these guys. Neither will ever be 220lb backs, but can definitely be extremely dangerous after a few years of strength training and maturity.

Small seems like the type of dude that is an elite 1B type back. He probably doesn't need to be the bell cow but there is a place on every team for a guy like him. Love his game.
The kids stat line yesterday....26 carries 180 yards 1TD. But people are complaining. I'm done in here today.

We've got big backs on the roster. It almost seems like our staff doesn't like the power back.

I’d like to have more of a power back to give it to there, but you give it to your best back on 4th and goal from the 1 in OT. Last night (when Small was hurt), that guy was Wright… and he gave you the leg drive and persistence that you needed right there. Refs, man.

When the announcers said they brought in Omari Thomas for the last play, I got excited thinking he was going to be running it. Would have been kind of funny.
