I have seen far too many RBs NOT be capable of seeing the hole develop to agree..it is a talent that can be sharpened, I do agree with that.I agree on the first part... the second part, however, any back is capable of... burst and acceleration after you find the hole and hit it is what separates the Saquon Barkley's from the LeGarrette Blount's
Do you realize how fast Diggs is, though? This is a non issue, IMO. He never was going to catch him or close any meaningful distance— what speaks more to me is that he gave chase and didn’t stop trying. He was toast from the moment Diggs touched it.When Diggs blew by him in the Bama game on the fumble, he couldn't close any distance, and didn't look that fast.
