It's difficult to think of too many coaches who have underperformed with loads of talent more than Muschamp. I don't even understand how he underperforms so badly given how good he is at coaching defense. He's the perfect example of the Peter principle; he's great as a DC and terrible as a HC. All it took was one year for McElwain to go 10-2 with Muschamp's roster; and McElwain was a pretty mediocre coach.
