'20 GA RB Len'Neth Whitehead (UT SIGNEE)

Yeah, I feel like the issue with Muschamp's OCs might actually be Muschamp. A bad head coach can make everyone else look bad. And pretty much every OC Muschamp has ever had has looked bad.
Whatever it is i hope he gets a chance to correct it. He owes us a chance to smack that punchable face of his around a couple more times.

He was our first choice for RB coach...never a candidate for OC. Helton had already been hired.
i'm talking about after Helton got canned. McClendon was on the list, but he took the promotion at USCe instead

He already had the promotion. Muschamp elevated him to OC the previous season...when we were looking for a RB coach.

We may get a visit soon....

He's not wrong technically. It's just that ... South Carolina will probably have to hire a better coach to get there.

It's difficult to think of too many coaches who have underperformed with loads of talent more than Muschamp. I don't even understand how he underperforms so badly given how good he is at coaching defense. He's the perfect example of the Peter principle; he's great as a DC and terrible as a HC. All it took was one year for McElwain to go 10-2 with Muschamp's roster; and McElwain was a pretty mediocre coach.
Who sc going to get better than muschamp. I for one cant think of any. Talking heads around athens say he will be dc at uga if he's canned. We don't need that

I don't think he is able to analyze and learn from mistakes...Pruitt on the other hand knew he had made a bad mistake with Helton, and so he fixed it. He seems to learn pretty quick.
Helton received and accepted a head coaching position offer. Are you sure Pruitt was going to fix a problem with Helton if that had not occurred ?

Thanks to the help of Fulmer and WKU AD Todd Stewart (UT ties) everything worked out for the best. Had it not, Helton would have probably been let go. Pruitt and Helton did not mesh well at all.
