Will Brooks isn’t just solid. He’s good. He played a great game Saturday, even before the INT.
It's almost like fans didn't have enough actual evidence to draw strict opinions on his ability to contribute in the secondary. It's almost like drawing an opinion based on the following evidence might be a fool's errand; he is a walk-on, he is caucasian. Loaded with ALL THAT EVIDENCE fans determined conclusively that our secondary was doomed. Does a caucasian, walk-on become a contributor at this level very often, nope. But we had no idea what he actually looked like in his ability to contribute. He’s played well all season. He will get drafted if he maintains this. He’s leading the team in tackles and INTs I believe
Unfortunately it's a natural reaction for most fans. It's almost like fans didn't have enough actual evidence to draw strict opinions on his ability to contribute in the secondary. -Matt RayTennessee commits Shaedy Hayward, Jack Van Dorselaer and DaSaahn Brame all left saying their recruitment is done. George MacIntyre, David Sanders, Justin Baker, Mariyon Dye, all left talking about this being the games you come to Tennessee for. Sanders is huge in Delaney's recruitment, and he has unlimited ammo to peer recruit now. Same with Faizon Brandon.
