I just don't understand the assumed pending doom of Clemson football? That program is 90-10 in the last 7 seasons with 2 national titles and 4 title game appearances.

I know NIL has ushered in a new era, but what makes people think Clemson won't continue to run roughshod over the ACC? I can't hardly believe that they won't adjust their current NIL practices. Even still, they have had four 4* kids commit in the last week+, and currently have the #8 class in America.

Unless Dabo goes elsewhere, which may or may not ever happen, the current level of bravado from some of our fanbase with respect to the Clemson program seems oddly misplaced. We'd kill to be where they are, and if we were, people wouldn't be projecting the same kind of ruinous downfall for ourselves. Maybe I'll be the one who's surprised to see what they look like in three years if Dabo is still there coaching, but it isn't like he's been a sudden flash in the pan.

Simple. They have been declining in dominance even if they won most games. Didn’t win a weak ACC. Lost both coordinators. And that’s what we want.

They had an “off” year and still won 10 games. They are probably gonna win the ACC this year and be back in the playoffs. I hope they fall flat. But I think you and others who think Clemson is gonna just go back to being an average team are going to be very disappointed.

He normally only shows up in recruiting to say things like “a recruit loves school X better than TN or he gone.” That’s troll stuff.

It's okay. With the portal, it is important not to burn bridges. He may start out at Clemson, but that does not mean he may necessarily finish there. Even if we dont land these guys as freshmen, doesnt mean we have lost all chances with them. Every impression we left on him will stick. Our job is just to continue to put a good solid product on the field. I guarantee you Garner wont lose his number.
