Update on LSU 247...

*** Marietta (Ga.) outside linebacker BJ Ojulari will be announcing his college decision on Friday afternoon.

*** A week ago when he made the choice to announce, it was all signs pointing to LSU. That was coming from talking with people on all sides. As we said, LSU was in the driver's seat and everyone else was chasing.

*** In the past 24 hours, I think we have seen a shift. Tennessee, Auburn and Georgia have all been in communication with Ojulari over the past week and making their final pitches. There was a time back in the spring when people felt Tennessee had a legit shot with him, and now I feel it might be trending back that way with one day left to go.

I have not put in any Crystal Ball picks yet (nor have others). We are waiting this one out today to see what we can get from sources on all sides, then we will pass along what we hear.

So a few visits from Nieds and this kid is wanting to be a Vol? How does the Niedermeyer do it?

Really though? Is it the gift of gab or we throwin money at it?

The one you should pay attention to. He was just there at Marietta. If he picks UT, it’s over.

Down to wire for Four-Star
B.J. Ojulari of Marietta High School will make his college choice on Friday afternoon. With a little more than 24 hours until his decision, I would not count out Tennessee, Auburn or LSU for the 6-foot-3, 220-pound defensive end. The Vols may be the ones trending here. I have not made a crystal ball prediction yet, and it may be one of those I put in late because I truly do not know which school he will choose.

Everybody is waiting for their "source" before they put their CB in...more like waiting for one "guy" to have the courage just to make a pick and then the dominoes will fall.

I just don't understand how this happens so routinely. A kid will be dead set on going to a school and then at the last minute receives one more phone call and changes his mind completely? It doesn't make sense.

I agree. He knew when he set the date and I'm sure the coaches have been in the loop since way before today.
