After Ojulari announced last week that he was days away from making his college choice, sources close to his recruitment initially indicated that LSU was the clear favorite.

Tennessee and Auburn haven’t given up on him, though, and the Vols’ persistent pursuit of him seems to have paid off down the stretch. Over the past 24 to 48 hours, sources have said the momentum has shifted toward Tennessee and away from LSU.

All signs now point to the Vols, who currently don’t have a projected edge rusher in their 2020 class, addressing one of their most glaring needs by landing Ojulari.

Sources said Auburn and Georgia haven’t given up on him and still could make things interesting in the final hours leading up to his announcement. But barring a late surprise, Tennessee has put itself in position to land another Top247 prospect it has coveted for months.

I hear you. But also, if that were the case then folks were being misled, and I don't think that was really happening. I think he's having a change of heart, perhaps. As I posted many times over the past week, LSU was in the driver's seat. I can divulge more after he announces, but you catch my drift. LSU was the team out front when he set the date, and I gathered that from a lot of different sides. But this is proving to be a case where recruiting is fluid. Which is why even a week out I was hesitant to say it was absolutely done, because you knew Tennessee and others were going into overdrive with their pitches...
