'19 GA WR Jadon Haselwood (Oklahoma commit)

fans over on VQ have a podcast and they did an interview with Simonton. While he said it’s not a done deal and we have legit competition, he also said that we have a very real shot to land this kid. Also said he would be our best playmaker day 1. Instant impact player. Needless to say, huge need.

“Another five-star prospect from the state of Georgia, wide receiver Jadon Haselwood, is taking a look at Tennessee following his decommitment from Georgia more than a month ago. Haselwood recently has mentioned the Vols as one of a handful of teams he plans to consider down the stretch, along with Miami, Georgia, Oklahoma and Auburn. And a source close to his recruitment said Haselwood could return to Tennessee as early as this weekend to attend the Vols' home finale against Missouri, although he has yet to confirm his upcoming visit plans.
Miami hosted Haselwood on an official visit immediately after his decommitment from the Bulldogs, and the Hurricanes still are believed to be contenders for him despite their recent struggles. Georgia also remains a factor, and he recently visited Auburn. But Tennessee quietly has emerged as a legitimate contender for Haselwood, and with the Vols still searching for at least one more wide receiver for their 2019 class, they could make an even bigger move with him if he follows through on his plans to travel to Knoxville soon.”

TN, UGA and OK would make most sense of his remaining group from a WR standpoint. If I was picking on scheme OK and TN would be my top 2. Add in conference, distance and friends it would line up to TN edge if we pull pappoe. Our offense gives WR the chance to make big plays downfield. That's all a kid can ask for. Plus now you have a known QB that can get the ball to you your first 2 years.

If he really visits here 3 times before signing day in december he’ll be a vol imo

How many times has he visited Tennessee to this point? And was it confirmed he was here this weekend?
