'19 GA WR Jadon Haselwood (Oklahoma commit)

One thing we also need.... more Dallas Cowboys losses.

Dallas media is already jumping on the Jerry trying to get the OU head coach as the dallas coach. Plus there are rumors of the browns pursuing him. Just keep that seed of doubt in Haselwoods mind about a possible coaching change in Oklahoma.

Plus, I really hate the Cowboys anymore.

Seriously though could you imagine Keyton and Haselwood together for 3 years? I'm trying to not get my hopes up but damn....

His family is in Georgia. In order for him to go back to UGA fields would somehow have to jump fromm and ball out and I doubt that happens. Seems like the only way he doesn’t go to Miami is if they fire richt. From what’s been said it seems he’s bought into the richt developing aj green pitch, which I think aj green was going to the league regardless of coach, and he just loves the city of Miami. I could possibly see UT get in if they hit on others to peer recruit him. Don’t think UT’s offense would factor in as much since Pruitt is selling potential and vision right now which is certainly a plus. OU has an offense he likes and his dad went there, but he took his OV there a while ago.
Do you think Fields transfers?

Honestly I have no idea now. After he didn't get many snaps during the LSU game and none for UF, I thought he would for sure. After seeing him in the Auburn game it really looks like he needs some time to develop. Obviously not a knock on the kid since it's rare for a QB to be college ready immediately out of HS, but many, including myself, thought he'd be able to overtake Fromm this year. If he does transfer it would be after the QB competition next year. While Fromm has done well, I think he's a 4 year guy and that's a lot of waiting for a 5* QB.

I'm curious as to why everyone thought he would overtake Fromm. Everyone was so impressed with Fromm taking over for Eason.

He came in with a ton of hype and brings a skill set that Fromm doesn't have. Fromm did a great job last year, but it was unknown whether that success had more to do with the backfield and front seven or him. I think he was a bit overrated at the end of last season being listed as a potential heisman candidate, then given up on a bit too quickly this season by our fanbase. After Fromm and Tua's success I guess people thought it would happen again.

I know someone says Haselwood and OP are friends, but anyone know if Haselwood has a connection with any other guys in our class? He and Ramel know each other?

He was a record breaking QB at Harrison HS over in Kennesaw. Local kid who the UGA faithful hyped up based on his HS exploits, plus there's the exciting dual threat aspect to his game. The expectation that many UGA fans had was that Fields would beat out Fromm for the job at some point this season. Obviously that's not going to happen, and it remains to be seen if Fields is content sitting behind Fromm.

Thanks. I knew he was highly rated, but so was Fromm so couldn't figure out how he was supposed to come in and overtake him when Fromm had experience plus accomplishments the year before.

When VQ mods give positive vibes on a bigtime recruit it's time to pay attention. UT is in this one big time. Miami and Auburn collapsing and UT on the rise helps. If this kid does indeed visit this weekend, watch out...

If he comes this weekend I say we throw it every down.
