'19 GA WR Jerrod Means (Pitt signee)

From his Hudl video, with the exception of a couple teams, it looked like he played mediocre talent. He also appears to be a tad bit slow for an SEC WR. I'm not trying to knock the kid, it's just my assessment and opinion. Hopefully he is a backup plan, if we miss on 8 or 10 wrs in front of him.
Slow he ran a 4.4 40

You better hope that these reports and “accurate” predictions are just the opposite. This would be a dagger for recruitment. Let’s hope all players with opportunity or desire to pursue the next level of the game (NFL) succeeds. This helps the program more than you can imagine.

Same kids not being drafted were recruited and coached by same guy who was fired. We have a new coach. We will give him time to recruit his players and see if they can be developed by him and his staff. His choice who to play and who to process. Hope your boy makes it because he’s a Vol but this draft only reflects on Butch not the present staff. And yes, getting players to the league matters and helps. Three out of five years with zero is a poor reflection on your Coach Jones.

There is no medioc talent in that region of play that Lovejoy is in. And a 4.4/40 is not slow. If JP does his homework, he will try to move back in to Griffin to recruit like UT has done in the past. They're not SEC, but Kennesaw State will be hitting Griffin for overlooked talent, as the HC is an alumni. UT has recruited some fine talent there in the past. 58 players that have passed through Griffin High football and/or GHS football alumni have made it into the NFL.

@Freak, why is it showing someone else's post ,with my name on it, as though I typed it?

Edit: upon further research, I realized the post was written 6 months ago and I guess I just forgot I wrote it. I just seen two or three different posts pop-up quoting it and thought it was a new post. My apologies!

WR (z or x), CB, Star, or S. Could make it on teams as a gunner or returner.

The reason I see him as that skinny Z is he’s got a lot of strait-line speed but not the shifty hips for a corner. Star or S maybe, someday, when he learns to hit somebody. Needs to learn how to break somebody’s hip.

I think he is, but he is a miserable one from a family of bulldawg fans.
I, actually like Catbone, although something deep inside of me wants to chase him up a tree. I don't really think he is a troll, just a young kid that didn't get to enjoy the glory years, '89-'01, imo, and has never seen what UT "was" and could be again. Plus, I dig his music.

Watched the tape. He has straight away speed but wouldn’t call him super athletic. Like that he played D and is physical. Did anyone else watch sophomore to senior? Did he grow a lot? He also changed positions which may be why the rating is a 3 star.

Only substantial film that’s available is from his sophomore year. Just gonna have to trust the coaches

Means attended multiple camps with Pruitt. They saw him up close, and we don’t have the benefit of that video.

Also have to remember our WR took a walk on at Memphis to an All American. He can develop what’s there.
