You need both. Georgia wasn’t a serious contender until they got Monken. Their offense was losing them games. We need at least an above average defense to put less pressure on our offense

Defense puts you in a position to win. Offense has to get you over the top though.

Georgia had a dominant defense last year. Good grief nobody scored over 17 on them. Your not winning the SEC without at least a good solid D. Defense and being able to get pressure on the quarterback and stop the run is vital. GBO!

Bottom line you need both. I love both, I hate when people try to discount defense like it’s not needed. How many teams that have won the SEC had just a average defense. Not many. Now on the same hand not many teams win with a average offense anymore either. Bottom line if your competing with the big boys you better have both. GBO!

I have heard a few on here act like we just needed a average defense. Yes they have been on here. I didn’t say all or many, but there are a few. GBO!

12 team playoff changes everything. You can lose 2 possibly 3 games and have a chance to win it all. Makes the sport so much better and a loss not so devastating

I disagree, it cheapens it. It is what set college football apart from all others.
