They very well might come back to earth, but they recruited some defensive studs this last class.Man this is a slippery slope I'm stepping out on but here it goes.U know if Cade doesn't get annihilated and completes a few of those 3rd downs past mid field just think about how much different the narrative would be around town rite now.Milton won't be able to chuck it 60 yards to White every play and 3 of 10 on 3rd downs whil3 ur opponent with a fresh fish qb that can't seem to make it past mid field isnt either..Credit to the Defense but our Vols got a nice draw that day.
Clemson is still living off Venables defensive recruiting so its gonna take a couple years for them to finally come back to earth. The whole "Butch Jones" saga really is what helped propel there last 5 years of success. If not for Lawrence they would have already shrunk back into the FSU shadows.Im super confident we don't have to worry about that bs with Heupel at the helm.

This would be an awesome get. A sign telling everyone that the old Tennessee is back in getting these top shelf athletesSpent time at Parkview today and checked on Matthews. He has settled in on four OVs. Tennessee, USC, UGA, and Alabama. Thought it was interesting Clemson wasn’t a definite for one at this point. I’ve felt this way for a while and nothing changed today— The Vols are deep in this one. Maybe the team to beat right now. Again, heavyweight battle and things change. OVs will be important. I really don’t think there’s a decision timeline with this one. I think it just happens, but we will see. Kelsey Pope will check on him tomorrow during the evaluation period.

-VQKelsey Pope had a busy week of travel as well. He made stops in Alabama and checked on several programs in the area to start the week. On Tuesday, Pope stopped by the school of five-star Mike Matthews to check on the elite prospect. This one feels like Tennessee-USC right now. Alabama and Georgia will get their chances on OVs, but the Vols and Trojans appear to be out in front. We will watch to see if Matthews gets back to Clemson, as they were at one point thought to be a serious contender for him in the winter.
His build combined with his ball skills and the quick breaks he’s able to make in and out of his routes reminds me a lot of DeAndre Hopkins. Love the way he runs those sting routes too and I hope that’s something we see more of out of this offense going forwardI think he’s a step above either.
