'25 GA WR Travis Smith (Tennessee)

True statement…but UGA has had 3 pass catchers (Pickens, McConkey, Bowers) drafted higher than any of UT’s since CJH took the reins.

And that’s basically what it boils down to in any WR recruiting now between UT (stats and recognition/college system) and UGA (do the no name work/pro style system)

Whew! Thank goodness you came along and put a couple of qualifiers that paint uga in a better light. I mean, after all, what is unabashed UT enthusiasm doing on a Tennessee forum anyway? Doesn't everyone understand that uga needs CONSTANT praise or their fans start to get all sad and depressed?

Thanks for keeping it pro uga. That was a close one.

That’ll change. Heup walked into a dumpster fire while the talent was just handed to bowl cut.

George Pickens, Ladd McConkey, Jermaine Burton, Adonai Mitchell...all these guys were drafted in the last 3 years though Burton (Bama) and Mitchell (Texas) transferred.
None of them are very good or elite by any measure. None of them were in the ballpark of green.

Careful…you didn’t trash an opposing team so the PAC12 Vol is gonna come accuse you of being a VolDawg

None of them are AJ Green, but he's one of the best receivers to come out of the SEC in the last 25 years, too, so if that's the barometer then very few WRs anywhere will measure up.

Plenty of room left between AJ Green and being a good WR, though. Not sure anyone called them elite, but all four guys were day two picks in the NFL.

Plus they played during the time of an All-World TE.

“It’s the system” blah blah blah. Easy to look good when your whole team is better than your opposition at every position and nobody can afford to double team any of your players.

Be gone troll.

Smith, Gass, Perlotte, the two corners and rb makes for a solid haul from the state of Georgia. If we somehow pull that large OT, even better. Half of them UGA want/ed.

Well Kirby is going into Year 9, let's table this until Heup is going into Year 9 and see if your statement will still be true. Highly doubt it will. Still no 1st round WRs doing that time.

Still a crazy stat though.
