Baylor would be 9-2 against their schedule. 2 of those losses are to Ball State and Delaware.

OT but did anyone see that Delaware had to play Del St in the playoffs. After the stories I saw it seemed pretty fitting. Not sure Del St really wants a rematch either.

hate I know this is a FB thread but gimme our take on our BB team. Are we in trouble? What seems to be the problem and do you think Pearl can fix it. I ask because I trust your take on NCAA BB.

There are some issues that need to be addressed. However, getting beaten by a really good team that was playing at the top of its game isn't cause for great alarm.

Texas is definite Elite 8 and perhaps Final 4. Still, we need to win those games to prove we're a contender.

Tech should consider Randy Edsel, former Tech DB coach, currently the coach at U Conn, challenging for the Big East title.

Their "challenge" for the Big East title got shoved down their throat in Morgantown Saturday night.

They may have soft opponents but that is no fault of the players. Blame the AD on that. They sure know how to play some high scoring games.

74-62 win against North Texas in regulation! Freaking arena football league score.

Mike Sherman to A&M suprised me, but in retrospect it shouldnt have given the freefall of the Texans.

Chris Low is on 104.5 now and says Nutt's options are most likely OleMiss (he may be 2nd choice behing Rick Neuheisel), GaTech and Baylor.

It's the AD's fault they can't beat Ball State or Delaware?

Nope. I do not think Navy is going to go undefeated even with the easy schedule. Sure they may lose to a couple of scrubs. You can pick these two losses and critique them any way you want. I really do not care. I think the fact they won more than they loss is a good season for Navy. These athletes are not going to the NFL nor pro caliber players. The teams they play may not either. I ll take a win or loss with these boys any day over some of these teams that have players arrested or do not value an education. Paul Johnson was hired to make Navy competitive against his scheduled opponent and he has done that.

If Nebraska hires Paul Johnson, they'll finish last in the Big XII North within two years.

Time will tell. While I think that Johnson is easily the best flexbone coach in the country, there is little doubt in my mind that the offensive style has run its course in the more competitive conferences. With Osborne back in charge it is not hard to imagine him trying to make it work again.
