Not to hijack but I'm waiting another week or so for the LG G3. 90% sure that will be my next phone.
You get it? The G3 looks solid.
I was bored the other night and somehow ended up with a red Nexus 5. Its obviously been out for a while but it's still solid. Anyone with this phone have any tips or tricks, or app suggestions?
Just got it today. Once I figure out how to work it I'll give a report
Love the size. Screen is great but not very bright outdoors. It runs a little warm and I can feel the warmth when holding it against my head for a call.
Will need to research best apps to use for message (going with message plus as default), mail, etc. Got the Doubletwist app and need to set it up to transfer tunes from iTunes. Contacts were saved to Gmail then onto this phone.
So far so good but there's tons to learn.
The buttons on the back are fine by me - no real adjustment period

Well I'm stuck in the iMessage hell zone. I had turned it off on my iPhone yesterday and did a factory reset. However, texts were coming in a thread I had started there and my iPhone didn't pick them up (prior to reset) and a test email from my new phone to iPhone users didn't work right either.
Realized later that I had iMessage still activated on my iMac and the texts were there. Signed out of that and verified my iPad and macbook don't have it activated.
Will give it a day to clear Apple servers but I'm skeptical right now.
As long as you have it turned off everywhere it should propagate the system right away. I've did it on a couple of phones this week and didn't have any issues. Good luck.Well I'm stuck in the iMessage hell zone. I had turned it off on my iPhone yesterday and did a factory reset.
