Note 4 will be the first phone to support the Samsung operating system instead of android/google. The Note 3 is probably the most sophisticated phone out now so I can't wait to see what the 4 offers.
I had a few android phones (htc one s, galaxy s2) and they were all very glitchy and lagged over time. Almost a year now with my iPhone 5c and it still works like it's brand new. I will NEVER switch back.
Definitely. The Note has the most cache of any of their phones. No way they'll risk it by ditching Android.I seriously doubt the Note 4 will be running Tizen. I would bet against that one.
Samsung said they have a couple Tizen phones coming this year but I don't foresee either being the Note 4. Maybe a variant with the same specs as the 4? They did say the 4 will be different this year but I don't see the flagship model dropping Android yet.
I have the Galaxy S4. Best smart phone I've ever owned. What is the big difference between it and the S5?
Every one is going to give you a bump in processing speed, screen quality, battery life, camera resolution, etc. Getting a phone that's older than a year generally isn't a good idea if you're planning on having it last two years. Unless you really want that waterproof, S4 is a solid phone.

They've been trying to break away with their own app store and ecosystem for a couple years now, and it just hasn't been catching on. The most I could see them doing is what you alluded to, Tizen versions of existing phones.
