It is really that simple. I'm more upset with the attitude however. No one is upset about how they are playing. It is like our Legs our in quicksand and we can't get out.The loss UK had Sunday motivated them to win this game and play much better. This was a classic trap game for us and walked into a buzzsaw. Don't overreact or over-analyze it. We laid a stinker and UK playing lights out. Flush it and focus for Sunday. It really is that simple.
After going coast to coast, she sprinted back on defense in a way we seldom see. They are pretty disciplined with effort.just have to hope we wash this game from our memory and move on. one of these games were bound to happen this season. it’s almost post season time so we better work our butte off we get better.
No wins are flukes. Score starts 0-0 for both teams and then you see what happens. “If” we play them tomorrow doesn’t matter for the scheduled game in the books as a win.The UConn win was kind of a fluke tbh
They’d beat us 90% of the time at least.
If we had to play them again tomorrow it’s more likely the result would be something like this than another win.
I think it's the 3 tall girls 2 of them can get up and down court good and the other is 6' 7" lumbers like Tamri Key but all 3 alter the way our players are shooting. When we don't score the other team goes up and down the court off of rebounds no chance to set up the press ergo the beat down.Wonder if maybe we have some sick girls on the team tonight. Just doesn't look right.
If she had hit half her threes, the game plan woulda been perfect. Spearman's been growing in confidence in every aspect of her game, including outside. She's gonna become that player... just not tonight. There game plan for Spearman was not good. She needs to stay down low and hopefully rebound. Probably thought they could draw one of the bigs out and help with rebounding.
If the pattern is that Brooks knows how to beat CKC when she's cobbled together a first season team, before she has her own players... I can live with that over the next dozen years!Damn, second straight year of Brooks making coach Caldwell's team look like frauds. First with Marshall, now with Tennessee. Damn it.
Our starters are exhausted, and the game is about out of reach... I'd like to see some minutes for the players outside the starting 10, tho I doubt we'll see it. We badly need some fresh feet on the court, though.
