Nope. Lot of the same worrying trends present in our games against Kentucky and Georgia (and Florida too). You’re zig zagging from game to game and that’s not how sports works. The Kentucky loss stands on its own, today we lost under different circumstances which stands in its own. I’m back stroking at ease.
It was a reasonable response to a comment regarding Kellie’s recruiting.Don't fret, football will be taking the extra funds back.SOON..
I believe you're a good person i just don't get why you're still upset over things that went down almost a year ago. Coaches come and go , willingly or fired it's part of the business..
Lol acting like we can only look at one game sample sizes is so backward. You are absolutely correct. We have seen the same exact trends starting with the Florida game and they’ve only gotten worse imoNope. Lot of the same worrying trends present in our games against Kentucky and Georgia (and Florida too).
It’s obvious to anyone whose primary motivation isn’t defending the coach that a switch flipped and she hasn’t been able to fix it. Your inability to put that together certainly isn’t my fault, even if I’ve tried to help you understand.
I actually think the disaster started last Sunday against Florida and carried over through the KY game and today. Are you capable of grasping a nuanced thought, or am I asking you to swim too far in the deep end? The disaster started against Kentucky and continued into today. You can take them separately and they’re both ugly, but taken together it’s a bad picture.
Not defending the coach, I’m defending the girls. The girls are the ones who get down 23 points the girls are the one who battled back. The girls are also the ones who couldn’t stop shot at the end of the game, the girls also are the ones who could hit a shot at the end of the game.Nope. Edited to add that we’ve trailed after Q1 in six of the past eight games. Talk about trends.
And? None of this changes reality. Not defending the coach, I’m defending the girls. The girls are the ones who get down 23 points the girls are the one who battled back. Hopefully she learns from this season. She played a lot of players all year that just don't have the ability to execute a full court press. Now many of these players will be gone next year and replaced with very athletic freshman that will have some growing pains. Better get a couple of strong post players. The last few games just seemed like our spacing was just not very good. You make some good observations... but the one thing that I've always wondered about with coaches... do you need to have some measure of flexibility in your approach? Can/should you adapt to the situation or just barrel through a season?
For the record, I think your comments could also really apply to Tennessee football and Coach Heup. So, we'll see how Coach Kim is really doing in 3-4 years.
She Tess made a threeIt's mostly some players have disappeared for some reason. Spear and everybody vs UK -Coop and Spear showed back up today but the whole team was still in bed the 1st Quarter of the game and Whitehorn & Spearman and Puckett have regressed. Tess has stayed about the same she hits 1 to 3 threes a game but not much else, but I think she was a zero 3s today.
It will .... but for some reason she seems to have lost this team. I still believe in Kim and I think the positives still out-weigh the negatives so far .... but this is discouraging. Today's game was totally unacceptable.it’s her first season. i do think CKC has nowhere to go but up in her career. shes gonna need time. next year should tell you a lot more about her coaching abilities.
Looks pi$$ed.They say pictures say a thousand words, but 3 words [he not happy]View attachment 725441
I would've agreed but at halftime of the SC/KY game, Charlie Creme said depending on what Alabama, Ohio State, and Baylor do today, we could be back in the top 16 by the end of the day.Don't have to worry about playing at home any longer. I think we would have to win at least two games in the SEC Tourney to even be considered for a top 16 spot. Looks like we will play Arkansas and I can't say we will win that one could be very close. Season had great promise has all come to an end very quickly. Some players that were really producing Spencer and Whitehorn just went stone cold. Puckett no help all season. Darby and Spear off and on.
Yep, like I said that's what you expect from Tess 1 to 3 threes, but you give up a little with speed and athletic ability. Like you said doesn't matter much after the loss, but I do not think Tess is dynamic, but she has not disappeared in her role like some others. She Tess made a three
Not that matters to her after the loss
You can't call the first 5 the 5 best players. Just think of the men's team Jordan Gainey is probably the 3rd best player all around but never starts. You have role players not everybody is a scorer and not everybody is a lock down defender, not everybody is a big and not everybody is a ball handler. If you recruit well enough you can have a deep team with not much drop off and if you get 2 deep at each role and players coming in are almost guaranteed 10 minutes. Then when they get here if they show out in those 10 minutes it increases to 15+minutes.
This team has a couple on each 5 they put in that are at times a liability. Recruits are coming in and a portal or 2 should make for an interesting run.
I think Cooper, spear, Latham, Spencer, and either boyd/whitehorn (I like boyd more) would be who she keeps. She seems to really like Spearman so maybe her as well. I personally don’t think Spearman is good but the size and athleticism is apparent so that alone might be worth it.So, who on this roster would CKC recruit if she could start from scratch? I just feel like these girls don't fit what CKC is wanting to do, they're not bad players, just not good in this system in my opinion.
