You may be on to something. While I can't place a finger on it, it does seem as if the team and the coach are drifting apart. CKC seems to me to be a perfectionist and very demanding. Has this taken a toll on the players? Has CKC taken any responsibility for any of our poor play? I realize the coach doesn't actually play a minute ... but ... many successful coaches often take some responsibility for their team's poor play thereby taking some pressure off their players. Has CKC ever done this? Coach Kim has been extremely successful at every stop in her coaching career and maybe now that she is being somewhat humbled she may be putting too much pressure on her team and alienating them. That's my 2 cents ...Some of these players like Sara were given up on by CKC early in the year. I don’t think she has ANY relationship with some of these girls and it shows. I wouldn’t want to be there either if I were them. If CKC didn’t want them, she should have told them so they could have moved on and thrived in a different environment. Tess and Sara are the only 2 seniors who have used all their eligibility as Lady Vols and didn’t even get the start today. Kind of shows a lot about the coaches character to me.
