Kellie has made those same kind of adjustments to win close games too. We are in rough patch but let's not forget there is a still a 19 in front of the four.
Not since Green has went down. Two games with Olivier Nkamhoua out ended up in wins, adjusted in the game it happened and adjusted last night.

I know some posters have wondered how losing Green could have such a negative effect. Some have asked if it's psychological. Others have wondered why 7 points and 3 rebounds over 14 minutes can't be easily made up.

In my opinion, Green's loss was a double gut punch. She is the oldest team member. In my observations of her (granted from a far) she is very calm, collected and mature. Her voice as a player on the floor (when the other team is making a run) is clearly missed
She lost all of last year minus 4 games due to injury and now losing another year is maddening. That in it's self is frustrating to LV fans as well as players.

Green's production of 7 points and 3 rebounds are her average for the year. In the last few SEC games, those numbers do not tell the whole story. When Key played her self into foul trouble or fatigue and needed a break, Green came into the game on a mission. How many times did she get a put back and an-one at a critical juncture in the game. Her presence always stopped an opposing teams run or started one for the LVs.

LVs must play better, especially Burrell and Key. Keyen Green's efforts before injury (for two years) deserve it.

Just noticed Mizz has lost 5 of last 8 games, the slide started a few games after knocking off SC.

They are effectively going to have to run Mizzou off the 3 point line ....at least the two that have hit over 100 three pointers so far this year, treasure the ball and each possession like a raw egg, have crisp passes and cuts in half court offense and theLV's will win.

I have been harsh in my assessment of this team...maybe too harsh...but let's be honest. We should by all accounts be on a 4 game losing streak...with 3 of those losses to unranked teams. I think this team has imploded and is basically done for the year. I'm not trying to be negative...just honest and realistic. One player shouldn't destroy a team...but since losing Green this team has fallen apart in every way. It appears she was an absolutely crucial part of the team....and it exposes these ladies as a team with zero depth. If Arky makes two free throws w under 10 secs left or nails that 3 at the end...it's a 4 game losing streak. This team might lose to Austin Peay if they played now. Heck...they might loss to a Junior College team. How much of this is on Kellie I don't know...but it doesn't look good on her. I'm not gonna be duped into thinking this team has a chance at.... ANYTHING. I'll continue to root for them...but it's obvious they are done....even w the size and talent...which again reflects badly on Kellie that they are such a dumpster fire. Disappointing and disheartening that losing ONE PLAYER like Green...just destroys you as a team....but the reality is this isn't even a top 25 team. Not even close.
This is the sort of post that just boggles my mind.

to all of jordan horston fans and bashers. we all like to see better urnovers as well outside shooting. but only jordan knows how much her back hurts her.
i i belive she would be lot better if not for her back. and turnovers is spell this way .

Urnover is like a verbal turnover:)
