Miles is a lot slower than billed. Comparing the shorter players, the GA team's girl and Walker are both quicker. Maybe she is tentative.

Striplin may have gotten the most minutes, but wasn't very productive. Kellie obviously is grooming her for a big role.

That last play with Miles going 1 on 1 was not a good set play. I believe that was a issue on last year's team as well. Hopefully that's not a trend all season. The starting 5 look legit good, especially Rae Burrell. UT is going to need 3 others to really step up to be elite. Should be a fun season to watch all this freshman get better by tournament time.

Emily hasn't played.

Walker is playing well but her lateral movement is still impaired with that brace.

Dye is impressive in the few minutes she's played. This was a huge get for us.

Key looks unimproved.

Striplin is the only freshman who's ready to play many minutes.

Announcers keep calling Rae "crafty." :)

The whole team only had 3 TO's.

The freshman looked pretty tight to be expected. Some of the upperclassmen as well. Lots of missed bunnies.

Still a good showing in the first half. Almost everyone who played scored, good defensive energy and converting on steals. Rebounding and putbacks could be cleaner, but again that seems to be nerves and tight legs.

Hoping to see us settle and knock down shots better in the second half.

Returners all look the same or better. The freshman look like they’re going to contribute but are nervous so far. Sarah does appear to have the most college ready body but she’s got the jitters so far.

Tess is moving much better and that was a nice, deep 3 she hit. Loved seeing her grab the board and push it hard herself. We need that from our forwards. That’s what set Chicago apart in the WNBA finals. Their forwards ability to rebound and start the break made a huge difference.

I’m wondering if Em is banged up. If she doesn’t play I’d guess she has a minor injury. Coach mentioned they were a little banged up.
