When I say that this is the best Lady Vols team I've seen in a long time, I give credit to Kellie, of course.

The game plans, the way the team is executing them, and the rotation we are using are all exactly what they should be. Totally excited about where this team is right now considering where they were at the beginning of the season. I think were getting better every game we play. They couldn't screen us very effectively on the perimeter and we had great coverage on the cuts to the basket. I'll watch the game again but I saw some really effective defensive play from a technical standpoint not just that they were missing shots we were causing them a lot of difficulty getting a decent shot.

I never knew Burrell to play defense like this awesome. She was in her face all day. She also knows how to deliver a foul when she needs to.

Missed the first half due to the Xfinity guide being wrong. But she also had the freshman against UConn. Quite a defensive week from Rae and she was great offensively against UConn

This year does not count against her because of covid. Every player got a free year. She will still be a junior next season as well as far as basketball is concerned.

Howard was working hard for a quarter or so when she saw she couldn't shake Burrell she starting doing some ball watching. She tried to get something going in the last quarter to pad her stats but not much from her today. Believe she will be ready when we go to Kentucky will have to bring a huge game to win there.

And Sugar Rae will be ready.
