I think we have proven we are a top 10 team. What are everyone’s thoughts where we will be ranked?

I think we’ll be 17/18. The loss to UCONN didn’t hurt us much and that win over Kentucky was decisive. Especially paired with the big win over Bama.

Back to back to back solid games. A first for the Lady Vols in several years and in the midst of a tough portion of our schedule.

Will Davis do a rerun.

I doubt it she looks like a top four first round pick and I think she has to go take that. I also heard McCoy who isn't playing anyway and KK are not returning. Green may be back and Jordan Walker could play two more seasons. Rosters can be more than 15 players next season as well. So if they all wanted to come back we would be at 17 but looks likely to be 14. I don't know if we might grab a player out of the transfer portal if there are any great ones could happen.

Kentucky (11-4, 4-3 SEC) struggled shooting the ball for the entire game. The Cats hit just 18 of 63 (28.6 percent) from the floor, including just seven of 24 (29.2 percent) from behind the arc. The taller Lady Vols also controlled the boards, grabbing 56 rebounds compared to just 25 for the Cats. Tennessee had 44 points in the paint, compared to just 18 for Kentucky.

We outrebounded them 56 to 25 wow that is the way Pat used to do it. We outrebound almost everybody we play even UConn 42 to 38. Turnovers a little high 17 most came when we went to the mixed lineup and they were pressing the last five or six minutes. 19 assists for 29 baskets today.

Need to polish those two stats...Turnovers to assists and Assisted baskets.

Yes they let it get away a little late in the game think there were five turnovers at least. I think we need some work inbounding the ball mostly players getting free to catch a pass. Then we need to set up to prevent the trap which comes to the player catching the inbound needs some where to throw the outlet that was where we took a decent number turnovers and made it look a lot worse than it was as far as deciding the game. We had like a 26 point lead let them cut it to 17 in that last five minutes.

Ya know what sucks! this team could probably have earned playing at hosting home during the first weekend in the NCAA tourney.

After the previous couple of years it would have been nice for this team to be rewarded like that... sigh

Would also like to see Key guarding the in-bounder in some situations. She’s a lot to pass over/around if she’s active with arms extended.

Best game against solid competition in a decade.Great coaching and execution on both ends.Good team effort but want to give great plaudits to Burrell for her outstanding defensive play on the best player in the conference.....to me that was the difference

The more I see Indiana the more i’m impressed with that win. The arkansas win is a solid. But this one does feel different.
