I dvrd the game so i just finished watching. Have not read any post but i think this is the best game top to bottom this year! A few crazy passes early and a missed FT or two but it was refreshing to see. Key played her best game maybe ever even though the rebounds may of been a little low but regardless great game for her. Everyone played and that is good.

Then we need to set up to prevent the trap which comes to the player catching the inbound needs some where to throw the outlet that was where we took a decent number turnovers and made it look a lot worse than it was as far as deciding the game. We had like a 26 point lead let them cut it to 17 in that last five minutes.

I know and think this is KKs last year but had i been her coach she would of had to catch 500 balls a day at practice . She just has skillet hands and that can be practiced . She did ok but she could have been so much better in her career! JMHO

😆 Thanks for posting that clip! That was hilarious (and Re is right...we have the ability to play with anyone). If teams take on the personality of their coaches, this team seems to personify that. They are tough and resilient.

Hoping we never come back down to earth until after the season. We're on the move.

Way too early for this, but the title of this season may be The Empire Strikes Back.

You can tell that Marta has a high bb IQ. When her reflexes catch up to brain, her + stats will grow. She almost made a great backdoor pass to a cutting Rennia, and for the most part, she boxed out well. When she improves her vertical, she'll grab some of those rebounds just out of reach over her head that are snatched by taller opponents. And she'll learn not to get trapped in Giant Land.

UConn would be in trouble if we played them now. UT could simply "out big" them in the back court and have Davis and Jordan as guards firing away from 3 point
land with the tall backcourt rebounding and putting the ball back up or out. UT, if ahead as they were by good margin in last game, would have the ability to go into "out big" mode every time UConn started catching up.

A Juggs machine would be a cheap investment to zip passes at her.

The problem I have is watching Horston bringing the ball up the court. I just know she's gonna turn it over half the time..... and we have to get better at throwing the ball into play. They've become a turn over machine lately.
