I wonder why Kaiya isn’t playing

darby was not only player geting beat in the 2 quarter

Unfortunatley Darby gets beat in every game she has played in.She is not good offensively either....she stands around ( as an earlier poster stated and waits on someone to pass her the ball).It has been stated several times and even by Coach Harper that she is a shooter which has been demonstrated in practice sessions ....but that has not shown thru when the lights shine bright in actual games.To me she is not an SEC caliber player....same as Rennie.

Just guessing,,, but we have played a bunch of
Powder puff teams and also beat 2 ranked teams.
If we can get our offensive shooting bugs worked
Out ,, we should be in good shape for SEC play.
Defense seems good overall. A lot of you posters
Know more about basketball than I do.

Maybe Coach Harper is still experimenting with
the lineup??? Obviously with Rae out is a big factor.

JG and Milton were good in football practice also.

True, i also thinks KJH knows Wynn is very raw on the offensive end of the ball so that might factor in on why Wynn is not playing ? just my opinion. But i do agree with all the members oh thinks Wynn should play more. Give her a shot let her get her feet wet. Look Stanford Tara has started to play talented 6-3 fr Kiki Iriafen she is gonna be a good one. Like debbie antonelli said during the game Tara will need to start playing her talented freshmens or lose them ? Now i`m not saying that`s in the case of Wynn so please don`t quote me wrong please. At the end of let`s see what Wynn can bring to the table.

a broken nose affects more than just her looks,,,hard to breathe and hurts if it is even touched,,,much less elbowed or inadvertently hit

Sadly we have two players, Rennie and Saunders, who are just taking up bench space. I would think by now both would be able to contribute something positive.

Seems to me a team is always going to have a couple of players - at least - who just sit on the bench in games. If a coach has 13 players, that still gives her at least two options at each position and then that leaves three more on the bench. Rotations have to have some limit. If you replaced these two with two players out of the portal, two other players would likely still be on the bench almost all the time. But those on the bench often contribute in other ways: Practice, team chemistry, eating minutes in blowouts, etc. I'm more concerned with the improvement of the players who do play at this point in the season.

It's mind-boggling Kellie insists on starting her, but does absolutely nothing schematically to help her be successful on the court...

Coach Darth diagnoses the problem again, but then gives no solution offer.

I figured the Darthvalanch would be coming. 9-1, a top ten team and now declared the worst (offensive) team in history after losing to Stanford!!!

To be fair, I believe he said that even before the Stanford game. I've asked him to prove it statistically, but no response.

Memovol44, I believe Striplin is not “comfortable” on the bench, but is just not one to sit there pouting and looking mad because it’s not her time yet. I actually LOVE seeing our younger players showing a good attitude through their body language and expressions while they wait their turn. Shows they are team players and not “all about me” players!

when we can't play Striplin in a big game like this I'm sadden.I really wanted her to be a factor for games such as this. yes I'm discouraged my hopes were too high I guess but I will believe in my heart she will be a factor at some point in time whether this season or seasons to come but I was thinking straight final 4 with what she could bring especially seeing Puckett fit in right away I thought Striplin would be farther along with her body and skills in that mid range we would be an absolute problem for ANYBODY and yes I do think we're still a final 4 team. defensively we can stay in games and we got to clean up some stuff offensively to win the game.two situations were in my mind before the season even started a team play zone Striplin in the middle at the free throw line swish.Key getting an offensive rebound too congested throw it right to Striplin mid range swish. yes indeed I was dreaming this

You weren't the only one.... I had hopes she would swish those 10-15 footers as well. Too high of an expectation that she could step right in I guess.
