And this is why we need multiple scorers or a system that gets players, shots that they can make.

3 things we have to do this quarter:

#1: get spear involved. when she’s hot shes hot.
#2: get to the free throw line. have to get even with them.
#3: rebound the dang ball.

Yeah I like Darby in that group. She can hit and open shot and will get lost with that lineup in.

#1 shouldn’t be on the floor. Completely ineffective. Spear needs to stay spaced better and move off the ball better.

Darby also seems to be quite improved with her defense. She had a steal and layup and another steal on the far end.

Dribble driving into the lane produces MUCH better shots than our wasteland behind the 3 pt line.

Has to be the right players though. Penetrate and kick. Can’t penetrate without a purpose like a couple of them love to do.

I also thought it was funny that Iowa’s coaches were yelling “shooter” when Sara caught the ball that whole half! Not this year loves!

Spearman and Cooper combined for only 13 minutes played.

They need to hav an impact in this 2nd half.

Also, nobody outside the starting 10 hav participated in the game yet. Even with Spearman and Cooper sitting almost the entire 2nd QTR. I don't like that roster management at all, like I said in the FSU game, but it is what it is. Guess that's how coach wants to manage power conference games.

Just 40 percent from the field. Most of that is because we took 16 threes and made two. They are shooting 48 percent on limited shots. Puckett, Darby, and Spear 0 for 5.

The way we win this game is shooting something like 45 to 47 percent and at least 30 percent from the three. Otherwise looks like our first loss. Never expected our shooters to shoot so poorly. It is happening game after game.

Boyd brings some size and does provide some good defense.
