Finally wore them down and the back to back mental mistakes of leaving Darby unguarded and turning it over for a steal score by Ruby sealed the deal.

I was hoping Tess would somehow get an open look on that possession. When she did and nailed it, that broke their backs. You could see it right away on the steal.

Coach Kim is different and people fixing to start taking notice. Her coaching won us the game by switching up schemes defensively and running plays through Tay Coop off high screens as well as posting her up!

Very poor officiating in this game. The refs called way too many touch fouls on the Lady Vols, especially in the first half, which gave Iowa way too many foul shots. But the Lady Vols persevered and won it anyway. They will definitely enter the top 25 and maybe even the top twenty.

They had 21 more turnovers than we did. When there’s a discrepancy that large in number of possessions that end in a shot there’s going to be a lopsided rebound margin a lot of the time. We actually had more O boards than they did, by the way.

Lady Vols gonna play intense the whole game, we know that. And games when shots are falling they’ll embarrass teams.

Great win, Cooper ended up taking over. Olsen is good, but 9 points at the line when you’re getting every whistle isn’t impressive to me.

Best front court we will see all season & it showed. Still lots of room to improve, but Coach Kim has this program heading the right way!
