I feel like it would do Tess some good to just run base line to baseline on offense. I just feel like her chances of making a three are higher in the corners. Because when she’s on the right side she misses left and when she’s on the left she misses long.

That’s assistant coach 101. Iowa is about to return to earth nationally. Jan is nice but she’s not a head coach. You good tell from those micd up moments.

They are not used to that kind of pressure and not capable of playing against it. If we'd shot the ball really well this would've been a blowout. Were winning shooting 40 percent from the field.

They had 21 more turnovers than we did. When there’s a discrepancy that large in number of possessions that end in a shot there’s going to be a lopsided rebound margin a lot of the time. We actually had more O boards than they did, by the way.

Yes, we stuck to our game plan. Won the turnovers and offensive rebounding. Kim lays it out and does exactly what she says she’s gonna do.

We shot 39 percent from the field and 24 percent from the three. Just got to figure out a way to get those percentages up with better looks and the right shooters. Were winning but it is neck and neck with a good team.

It was in the first half. We were all complaining about the bad three pointers in the first quarter.

To Paraphrase she basically said “yall are jacking up a bad shot every time you have a little space and you won’t go rebound for each other when you miss them.”

I have a bad case of it. I was one of those doubters when Iowa went in the bonus I thought for sure they were going to win it at the free throw line, especially the way the game was officiated. Glad I was wrong! Very hopeful for the season now. We should go into SEC undefeated now.

Watched the last 7 minutes. This game was as much about conditioning as anything. Iowa was not prepared for this kind of intensity. Kim said this year would not be pretty. Looking pretty good to me. Imagine what this team will look like with 2-3 years of recruiting.

What we need to strive for cause would be really hard for anyone to beat. 77 shots to their 50 of which they made 46 percent. They did make some of it up with plus 8 at the line.
