This game definitely came down to coaching. We have the better players.

9 assists to 29 turnovers. If not for Horston's ability to just 1-on-1 and be productive, this would be even more brutal.

moving forward, we have to work on beating the press and limiting turnovers. we win this game if we do both of those. we also have to get jackson more involved in the game. i do think this season will be fine. it’s one game. the first game of the season. we have a ton of new pieces.

She was right.

This is her show me year or show her the door. But her time her has shown nothing to say she’s ready for the keys to the house Summitt built.

This is what it looks like when a bunch of kids you pick up in the portal play against a team that has played together and been developed together in a superior system that has an identity, and is run by a coach that does more than run a turnstyle on the sideline and sit on his hands when his kids are rattled.

We might be better by the end of the year, but it was foolish to think you could build a team this way and come out firing on all cylinders against a tough schedule.

This is just pathetic, and it is absolutely inexcusable to see it happen this far into Kellie's tenure.

This team is light years away from where it should be.
