a glaring issue. this team doesn't realize when they need Diamond to score and when they need her to distribute. right now they need points and she's still passing the ball. she's 3/7 in 3 quarters. that's not gonna get them a win - ever!

Folks I am afraid the ND and Stanford wins will not be enough to make the tournament and we would not make the SEC tournament if everyone was not invited. I said we would lose 14 or more like last season but I was scorned beyond recognition. I hoped for the best but expected the worse. Still do I am afraid.

Our players don't play hard for Holly. The only time we see it is when the heat is turned up on her because of her inexplicable losses. If a big game like the ND game comes around at about the same time the players will rally around her and play better. Outside of that there's not much effort.

Sad thing is that many believe this will change with new recruits. I don't believe it will. There's no accountability from the top. And that's where it has to start.

Middleton was in the game turning the ball over for way too many minutes! Dunbar hasn't hit a 3 since last year (December)...Holly has no, absolutely no clue...she is out coached in the majority of SEC games! But give her another contract extension!

I have spent a good amount of time analyzing a number of teams and I just can't figure this team out. I watch the replays and it can't just be the short bench. That could certainly play a role in it but they aren't the only team that's ever experienced that and generally at this point in the season most coaches have already figured out their 7 to 8 player rotation anyway are are using it pretty exclusively.

Some of this inconsistency has to be mental. It has to be because they know who their best 3 players are Russell, Nared, & DeSheilds and normally if you have a good trio all you need is a mediocre supporting cast that knows their roles and will do them day in and day out to be able to have some sort of expectation night in and night out. I bet the Lady Vol coaching staff goes into every game just like the fans... wondering who is going to show up and that is just a shame. I can't even imagine the stress. After a season and a half of this what more could they possibly say to the players that they haven't already said.

I can say the LV are in desperate need of some guards. hopefully we will be better with our AA guard class and Tea coming back next yr.

Everybody running down court leaving Reynolds by herself with no one to pass to. Their press completely destroyed the Lady Vols and we can't get a rebound until they shoot two or three times.

You think Geno would stand for this BS? This is a team with no clue because the coach has no clue! Embarrassing that other schools in the SEC are actually getting coaches who can teach discipline to their players! Auburn had watched tape, they know Middleton will always try to dribble through a double team, and it's like taking candy from a baby!

Middleton seems to have forgotten how to play lately. She's a sweet spirited team mate, and I hope she gets out of her funk. And Diamond is turning the ball over WAY too much.
