They sure didn't try to come help her out. It was a couple of times she was trying to throw it before the trap came, but nobody came back for the ball.

Another historically bad season is starting to seem inevitable. To play like this in a We Back Pat game is a disgrace.

Well, I made reservations for Fri. for sec tourney, we'll probably be put of it by then. Soooo disappointed!!!:thud::no::redface::angry:

I am pretty sure I wrote either earlier this week or late last week I would not be surprised at all if this team got a big win or lost 3 more games this month that is how wide the range is that they play in. It is really unreal. As puzzling as their play can be I wonder if it confuses opponents scouting. A lot of teams use their opponents last 5-6 games to scout them. What on earth can you gather from an analytical stand point scouting them for 6 games? This team has to be scouted quarter by quarter. Does anyone know if Tennessee is going to be featured in one of those matches on ESPN where they mic both coaches?

I kinda agree but the first quarter we looked like killer bees and the last 3 we looked like dead meat. Bottom line when the shots are falling like the 1st quarter the coaches and players are happy but when it gets down to the nut cutting they ALL fold like soft flowers!!! Mental midgets when the going gets tough.:banghead2: Still say we lose 14 or more and don't make the big dance!!

I don't know it was lack of effort. It seemed more a lack of composure. They got really rattled by the press in the 2nd quarter, gave up some easy transition buckets, and never really recovered. Unbelievable that Holly couldn't get them settled down at halftime to deal with the press.

Ultimately the blame always comes back to the coach, as it should. If there are some out there that think holly cant or wont be fired, you better think again. Obviously it wont happen this year, but if we keep seeing these same prob,ems season after season it will be inevitable, or it will be a forced resignation..

It will probably turn out to be a bad loss to an unranked team rather than a loss to a top 4 tournament seed.

We needed to do what NC State did, which was use the win against ND as a stepping stone, not a fall backwards.

Thank God for cupcake Vandy on Sunday to get this bad taste out of our mouths.

Auburn went to the trapping press in the second quarter and Holly or the players never figured out a way to attack it. We turned the ball over 23 times and allowed them to shoot the ball about 18 times more than we did.
The major problem with Holly is she has no clue how to make in game adjustments. She never gave Reynolds any help and everyone was running up court instead of helping get the ball across half court.
Auburn was making layup after layup we couldn't defend at all tonight just really a strange collapse.

Her inability to settle the team and play against the press with more composure is 100% on her.

We got seven home games left we need to win them all get us to 18 wins. Were not looking like a team that will win many on the road. We did beat Vandy but they haven't won a conference game.

Forget ND. They need to take care of business in the SEC. Losses to MS and SC will give them 5 losses. TAMU, LSU, UG and Alabama are not guaranteed wins. If they lose those games, they will have a losing record in conference play, and that could keep them out of the tournament.
